  1. I think we all know that Coiler is indestructable....
  2. I had FP, UP, SPEED, R17 and I still have Speed 168. I think they are durable as you can get. Never had a single problem with the boards. I guess I'm a pretty heavy user as I snapped Rossi and Prior in half. Also I had Burton Wind which lasted good 4seasons. I liked their overall design but they should've done something about their plastic material. Other than that no issues. I think your board was very old since Burton UP endup with size 168 from 99~00 season.
  3. Wow..... I guess there are more idiots than I thought. Especially the guy who tried to use TD2 without E-ring.....seriously, people got to pay attention to the manuals that they get with their product.
  4. I'll let Jack, Fin, and others who told me that I let the bolt loose...... Funny thing is that My Suspension Kit came a couple of days before I went out and I install them just the day before the ride. As I always do, I tighted all the screws and bolts. So I don't think the bolt came loose after 3 runs. Just let you guys know that I wax my board after one full day of riding and I remove my binding when I do so. So checking binding screws after every ride is just a normal every day maintainance for me. I still can't figure this out yet but, I think I should just replace the bolts after couple years just to be safe. My TD2 is about 3 seasons old so it's definately not new. Thanks Michelle for the quick response. I still believe in Bomber's product and I've been their loyal customer and will be.....I just wanted to warn everybody to know that it does happen so check your bindings and replace the parts after some years of use. Btw, the Suspension Kit rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fin, I'll send the block to you when I get my parts. Thanks
  5. I was having a great day today. Combination of very little amount of people on the slopes with not too cold weather, I was happy. :-) As I always do, I went to the steep and started euro carving. After about 3 runs, I cliped in and start with my heelside and went for my toeside. Certainly, my front foot was on the slope and my board flew up in the air. Since I was euro carving, I didn't take any impact from falling but, my ankle was sore. I wasn't really hurt so I took my time to look what's wrong. And guess what? The shoulder bolt sheared off, spring was gone and bolt head was missing from my TD2 As you can see from the picture, the remaining piece of the bolt is still there. FWIW, I'm 5'11" 175lbs. and people tell me I'm very aggressive since I use a lot of body rotation. I think I heard this happened to the other member of this forum and I'm now a bit concerned about the whole thing. Is this just a bad batch of bolts making problems or else?
  6. HI blue and HI yellow are the same. They just changed the name. Anyway, they are the brightest lense next to clear and you'll see better with this lense than clear.
  7. Same here in Korea. I just came back from 3 local shops and they only had a couple of boots left. Oh.....they had some left over Viruses because they are out of trend.
  8. I have 3 pairs of goggles. Oakley Aframe with Blue Iridium lense - Day time use Oakley Wisdom with High Intensity Yellow - Night time use Vonzipper with Chrome lense - Extreme sunlight(Just bought it because it looked good) I wear goggles for the protection. I had an accident where I hit a tree with my face. My helmet cracked, my Oakley goggle left with bad scratches but, my face didn't have a scratch. After that incident, I don't bother with sunglasses
  9. If you can ride UP without problems, you are not that aggressive. I can fold the nose of UP @170lbs. Tex might be right. I heard Volant is problematic. And UP is pretty soft for your weight. And also both of them are designed before this centry.
  10. Can you tell us more about your PJ Coiler? Looks wide......I likey......
  11. Anybody ridden any of these boards? I have a friend here who owns 680(that's 168). He asked me if I want it because he's not a hardbooter. I've noticed that it has 33mm of taper and 750(175)has 23mm of reverse taper How do these boards ride? Anybody?
  12. Your boots shrink when they are cold so your binding might feel loose when you are actually on the slope.
  13. I agree. I like them tight. Oh binding too.
  14. I weight 170~175lbs. I like to have at least 1450mm+ of effective edges(usually total length of 168 for a normal alpine board). I'm more of an euro carver with a lot of body rotation. I don't care about sidecut much......unless the board has 16m+ SCR. which means you really have pay attention and look far ahead since you'll need high speed to turn the board. For normal carving days, I like boards with 11~ 13m SCR(168~180). For high speed carving, I like boards with 15~16m SCR.(185~195) I don't think you'll have much problem handling 160~170 but, what do I know.....
  15. Nice work mr..... One of the most useful site for snowboarding ever..... BTW, thank you for putting my youtube ID
  16. Hi Henry, I'm not exactly sure about the pad setup but when I had Burton Physics, they came with 7* lift and cant combo for the rear. I don't know why though.....
