2022 Flux CV bindings have been working well for me.
Any feedback on the CV stiffness? Considering the allegedly stiffer XV but…

Rich unintentional comedy vein here...
"We're not talking about these $1000 custom jobs recommended by butt-hurt, middle-aged white guys wearing ski boots."
And in a list created by a butt-hurt ("angry") middle-aged white guy, the number 1 carving board is a $1000 deck created by a guy who made his reputation wearing "ski boots."
I love this guy!

Is there a reason you choose the XV bindings over the new more carving focused CV binding with its higher heel loop?
+1 on this question. @crackaddict, any wisdom here? I’ve avoided “plastic” bindings for a long time, reasoning that metal is stiffer. A quick examination of the logic - complicated chassis, multiple connection points, variable quality - suggests this is the bias of a lazy man. Maybe I need to reconsider?

It wasn’t meant to be any sort of repeatable test, more of a “holy shit, even supposedly stiff sb boards are pretty soft” thing.
Yegads, man, this isn't Reddit or Snowboarding Forum; this is the Royal Academy. Bring some rigor and repeatability to the show next time.

what about hanging with zombie armadillos?
You know, when threatened, armadillos roll themselves into…
…yes, giant balls. We’ve come full circle, so I think we can call it a wrap! Let’s all head home now.

The above conversations give me hope for humanity. This thread originated with many calling the unvaccinated the spawn of Satan himself, and now there are productive discussions.
Of course, The Spawn of Satan would have no need for a vaccine, so you can see where the confusion started. Happy I was able to contribute to productive discussions!

I went back to the car and put on my old, scratched gaggles that have a gap between the top and the helmet, no fogging.
So…are you saying the gapers are on to something here?

Howzabout some facts about your ballz, they grown enough yet to hop on that coila' more often, or do you need a booster( or 3)
Last time I go to Nicki Minaj for medical advice. All those vaccinations didn’t swell things at all. I should have gone with the tried-and-true hernia surgery method. Not just the size of gorilla nuts, but the color too. Looks like I’ll be lame at snowboarding again this season…

Maybe demonizing the unvaccinated who have already overcome the virus is unwarranted now?I love me some facts. Can’t get enough o’ them facts. All facts, all the time.

I heard what my girl Nicki said and I snuck in and got a double dose. I’m jes’ sitting back waiting for the swelling to start!

Evidently though, according to Nicki Minaj, the vaccine might make your onions swell, which in your case would be on theme. I’m totally expecting it to improve my snowboarding.

The FDA had a very long meeting..... many, many doctors were in it.... Here is an interesting 2 minute section from what one doctor was saying, and the data he presented....
For the sweet love of Jonas Salk, I wish I could get myself vaccinated against reading these posts. They're depleting my already scant grey matter, but I can't seem to stop myself...

Those who can, do.
Those who can’t, teach.
Those who can’t teach, critique (or teach gym, if you’re Woody Allen)
I’d consider it a point of pride to be insulted by a bumblef*** like that guy (though I confess the original Top 5 that started the whole thread was pretty funny)…

Related - This is a fascinating, but long, psychology podcast about how conspiracy theories grow and spread so much faster now because of how easy it is to form a group of like-minded people on the internet:
+1 on that. It took a lot more will and backbone to be a kook before the internet/social media. You really had to WANT to view porn / buy drugs / see some weird band to overcome the obstacles. Now any a******e can find like-minded a********s without expending any effort.

that means that on this limited data set you are nearly 12X more likely to be hospitalized for Covid without a vaccination than with.
…and, evidently, vaccination also makes you less susceptible to conspiracy theories and quackery.

I personally think Snowbowl is the worst ski area in the state. Old outdated lifts, facilities are very outdated, and minimal grooming for carving.
Same for Loveland. And it’s cold and windy. And the food portions are small. And the coyotes are brazen and aggressive. Spread the word.

Yes, it’s called Gorilla tape. Also useful if you have home repairs or kidnappings on the agenda.
