“designed only for the real men”
Who are these fake men other boards are designed for? Those sound like my homies so I’d better be on the right gear.

Wow......I would have freaked to be reviewing the footage later and to have seen that chasing me!
Any idea where she's at??
Don’t worry about it; they only go after people who aren’t wearing helmets. They hate removing the packaging to get to the juicy center.

Looks like it will be another good day for tankers tomorrow.
Yesterday was, in fact, a good day for Tankers. It was also a good day for flat light lenses, which I had. In my car. This laziness/stupidity contributed directly to the three hardest spills I've taken in years when 1) the earth abruptly fell away from me off the side of a cat track at high speed, 2) soft, pillowy fluff turned into pockmarked, boilerplate slag again at high speed, and 3) the end of a steep run came early in the form of an ice culvert. All of which ended with a whiplash-y neck snap and me on my back, head downhill. I wish I had witnessed any one of these. The day was still glorious and great lines were to be found under the Chair 8 lift. Aside from cutting wind, brutal cold and plonky lifts, the Ganzfeld experience (flat light+blowing snow+above treeline) is another of Loveland's unique charms. I love her.

Like a baby’s bottom. In my mind I’m envisioning you balancing a tray of champagne flutes without spilling.

Tanker Sesh was a blast.
Myself, Big Mario, Ice, Hillb, D.T., J49, Lisa, SVR, Slopestar, Andrew, James, Laurel, and the Rad Air man himself, Harry Gunz.
4-201s, 1-200, and both of SVR's Rad Air-Winterstick collab boards.
That is SO freakin' awesome!

Should have asked that person if they liked riding strapons?
My id is guffawing loudly over this. My superego is telling it to pipe down and show some dignity.

Fair, fair. I am so sorry. Let’s see, the only photo on hand is below - gen one is dark green, third from left. If I recall—173/27 20m scr on a fairly short effective edge but with long, early taper shovel and tail that are engaged off piste. Stiff too. For the record, this board rails hard on groom too — fast
It begs the question, for me at least, of how it performs compared to the Big Gun standing next to it?

Sometimes I say “it’s a snowboard for old people”. One time a kid responded “that’s so cool”.
This guide should help: "It's a snowboard for...
- ...old people"
- ...people whose pants aren't too big"
- ...people who don't always wear plaid"
- ...anyone who's not high right now"
- ...for people who don't wear beanies in 80-degree weather."
Join in, it's fun!

That’s some Yoda s*** right there. Makes me want to strap on a blindfold and plunge into the tight trees.

And a big A$$ protein drink at the end of the day really helps with next day soreness
I’m afraid to ask what “a$$ protein” is…

If I squint really hard, I can envision a day when someone melds the two independent skis into a single ski, a "board" if you will, that can be used in much the same way. The current technological hurdles are too high to overcome now, but in the future, that day will come.

That outrigger style is probably sensible for not mashing all your teeth out when the edge disengages but doesn’t do much for helping the center of mass from keeping edge engaged in the first place.

The only way to truly determine this is to post pictures. Lots and lots of pictures…

My personal limit on Intecs is 150 days.
By that math, I’ll be ready for new ones in 2071. I’m gonna put $8 in a bond account today so I’m covered by then.

If you are not heading up the pass by 6 am- stay home. Really Sad how bad it is now. And WP is bottle necked by Berthoud pass and by one stupid stop light on the way back
Remember Berthoud before all the childproofing? You had to WANT it. Now? Any sucker can brave it.
