  7. Just tested this weekend a 2018 Angrry 165 T4 vs a 2016 NFCE 170 T3 on a ultra firm, ice and fast conditions where most of the carvers were chatting out, both boards have a vsr 10/12/11 approx and 20 waist. Both boards were gripping like hell. Felt confident at all time with very agressive lay down carving. Lost the edges once or twice on 2 full days riding (10 to 4). Have not change my style vs hero snow. Felt the t4 is having more torsionnal stiffness and felt that it was just a notch better on ice. Obviously, it is not a world difference between both boards but that can give you that extra bit confidence that makes the difference. I owned 5 diffent models of T3 coliers (stubby’s, Monsters, nirvana’s) and always wanted to compare T4 vs T3 on tough conditions like I did, even if the board models are slighly different. To answer your question, I would go for a T4 if I had to order tomorrow.

  11. Corran, 185 in the cafe racer seems a little bit long for me but still intrigued to see how it can be ridden on hard pack condition. I ran on 184 a couple years ago and, with the adequate flex, can be fun. 179 cafe carver seems to carry a smalller effective edge if I understand well, can be also interesting to try on a hardboot set up. The hybrid use ( soft and hard) is also something to consider. We are a bunch of harbooter in Mt-habitant, so I’m sure others would like to give a try as well. can you shoot me a text at 5142206305 so I can communicate directly with you to see if that is feasible. Merci!
  12. I live in the vaudreuil area, west of Montreal. Also spend a lot of time in st sauveur.
  13. Corran, Any demos available of your cafe racer version in the 161-175 version? Curious to see what this board can do. Always interested to support local business. Cheers! Charles
  14. Talk with Redia on this forum. He is the kind of sales rep. in Canada for Swoard. He will be able to guide you regarding the board lenght and flex needed for you and maybe he is having some demo boards for sale. Cheers!
