Ok. I know it's not as close when you ride insane angles
I did see some kid ripping on his first "hardboot" setup. It was almost a skwal and he mounted his softboot bindings 70+. @ktv and I saw him ripping down Schoolmarm on his first day.
Previously, I thought the kid was out of his ****ing mind when he rode the lift with us.
70+ on softboots?!)) lol

Colorado got solid carving days right now

Down-unweighted extremecarve sometimes is the only way, especially if you are on 20m radius board. Otherwise, lines will be way too long and way too fast to control.
James is amazing rider and very knowledgeable guy, very happy to finally meet in person and ride together!

Yeah, I didn't actually forget my liners. What am I? Some kind of tourist?
I had surgery for a ruptured bicep tendon in my front elbow about three months ago. Started out this season with the arm in a sling inside my jacket, riding the kids chair exclusively. Once I progressed to the pocket of course symmetry demanded the back hand be in its pocket as well.
So actually I've been working on this all season. But don't tell my subscribers, I wouldn't want them to know what a slave I am to YouTube views...
Can’t wait riding next few days with you man!

I got hit from behind by volunteer ski patrol. His butt buddies tried to blame it on me, except it’s on video; he tried to go for a pass for several turns before falling into me attempting to pass on a pitch.
He broke his leg over me. His skis almost sliced my eyes; got stitches around it.
Don’t trust anyone. And volunteer ski patrol is basically participation trophies looking for a free pass.
Btw, you never looked up on that vid.. just saying

Hi, I'm going to Aspen from Feb 12 to 15. Any lodging suggestions? Glenwood springs look a bit too far for everyday drive. Where are you guys going to stay?
Hey hey, great man, you will love it in Aspen! We are staying in Basalt, kinda half way from Glenwood springs, 20 min to buttermilk and roughly 30-40 to Aspen itself.

I ride with toe lift on front and flat on the rear. No inwards

Okay, measured bare feet twice, came up 0.91 decimal foot, converted = 277.37 mm. Maybe just a touch big?
Well, then you are at Mondo 27.5 - 28.0, which is Shell C.

I'm interested in these boots, but I'm not sure how the shell/liner size thing works. I need a 28.5 liner, which your shell size seems right for. Yet, you're a 29.5, so, would I be swimming in these things with the 28.5?
You should not be, with 29.5 I am very tight in these boots and have to go with very skinny liners. I would highly recommend that you measure your feet on a piece of A4 paper from you longest toe to the heel to be sure that you are at exact 28.5.
Stock liners which comes with these boots are 28.5 size.

Is there any evidence of Aspen Ski Co correcting this unfortunate development in the grooming quality? I have been thinking about taking a week or two off to ride in Aspen this winter, but I'm not willing to pay Aspen prices if the trend suggests the grooming will look like this . Say it ain't so!
This picture of one black runs in Buttermilk, which oftenly closed for the public, i would not judge all 4 resorts by it. So far, after 10 years living in CO, i have never been bugging about Aspen mountains grooming conditions. Btw, big group of carvers are going back to Aspen this coming season in Feb. 7th - 16th!

So @Jack M and @SunSurfer, by your logic and formula, I should be riding with 22.5-23.5 (57.5-60cm) stance to be able to make more stable and powerful turns with better range of motion and joint freedom? Most of boards i have, have less spread of inserts. I can't even make 60cm stance..

You should be able to try 20.5" with a toe lift, and it should be just as comfortable but with more power and stability in your riding.
I wonder, how tall Neil is?! As I am 6.5 (195cm) and I also ride 20.5” (52cm)
