  1. No worries. I ended up riding with Justin the whole day, then hooked up with Sean F (sp?) and Juhwan later. Hope you feel better from that spill
  2. I have one ticket left from a 4 pack that I won't use. Selling for face value - 4 pack was $269, selling this for $67. I'm in Dillon and riding Summit County resorts until Friday March 1 and can meet locally around here. I'm heading back to Denver the afternoon of March 1 and can meet in Denver as well that afternoon. Or, I can drop it in the mail to you. Great opportunity if you need a ticket for Sunday Fundays with the LCI crew.

    Yo Lci!!

I'll be joining you guys on Sunday and will be in Summit County for the week. Now I know who not to ride the lift with
  4. That's exactly what Mark called the topsheet design. He labeled it as "Enter the Hip Draggin'" on my spec sheet that was included.
  5. My first Thirst - a Metal Superconductor. It was great working with Mark. I mentioned what I wanted for my top sheet, thinking it'd be a printed top sheet with Thirst Graphics. He did it in Wood! It'll complement my Coiler WogoCoco(s).
  6. If they added some elastic material on top that would make it much easier to get in/out, then it'd probably work much better. Have any photos of the gen2 tops?
  7. I've not tried the Deeluxe version of the heel harness. What the Patriot does do is fill in a little volume with the neoprene sleeve, and it seems like the neoprene also adds a bit of friction with the shell. Adding the foam additionally then increases volume. So from that aspect, it does help heel hold. But the toe pain kept me from using them. I personally don't like trying to do the foot in the liner, then foot/liner into boot method. I've tried, and it sucks IMO when I tried with my UPZ boots. That, and my riding buddy @pow4ever takes forever to put his boots on and take them off because he does it that way with his Zipfits I've always used some boot fitting foam from Tognar as well on my Achilles to add heel hold when necessary. This was just a tidier way to do it. As mentioned, I switched from Deeluxe liners to Intuition Alpine, and after molding, the Alpines provide better heel hold trying out on carpet in my family room - no need for boot fitting foam yet. I'll need to see if that's still true riding for real a bit when I can get some snow here
  8. I bought these maybe 2 seasons ago to try out. While they work decently for heel hold, the issue I have is they make the instep area very tight/constrictive and hard to get into the liner if you are the type to have the liner in your boot and step into the boot/liner. This is with wrap liners - I've not used tongue liners so I don't know if it works any better. Perhaps if you are the type to put your foot into the liner then your foot/liner into the boot, it may work better as you're able to adjust your foot before entering the boot. What this ended up doing for me is not allowing my foot to enter properly and somehow ends up squishing my toes or leaving my toes very uncomfortable, when they're fine without this sleeve. Even riding for a bit doesn't ease this at all. I switched from Deeluxe Liners to Intuition Alpine liners this season, and tried them again with the Intuitions, thinking maybe it was something to do with the Deeluxe liners. I had the same squished uncomfortable feeling in my toes when I tried again.
  9. @pow4ever @jimcheen and I will be riding from 2/11 through 2/17, staying in El Jebel. See you guys on the mountains that week!
  10. Here's what I used about 10 years ago to mount a GoPro to the board nose. I used it when I started out hard booting to look at my body position to improve back then. I haven't had a GoPro mounted like this for a long time. Buy an aluminum GoPro mount so it's less likely to break and it has a completely full flat surface area underneath. The one I bought is no longer available but something like this will do: https://www.amazon.com/LUORNG-Surface-Aluminum-Release-Interface/dp/B0BKG5X61H/ref=sr_1_4?crid=2C056FG26H1WO&keywords=Horizontal+Surface+Quick+Release+Buckle+Mount+For+GoPro+HD+Hero+2%2C+Hero+3+Camera+-+Black&qid=1703610013&s=electronics&sprefix=horizontal+surface+quick+release+buckle+mount+for+gopro+hd+hero+2%2C+hero+3+camera+-+black%2Celectronics%2C162&sr=1-4 Then use clear Bathroom Silicone Caulk from Lowes to adhere it to the nose area. It'll stick well, but you can still remove the silicone from the board if necessary with a plastic scraper/plastic putty knife and Goo Be Gone. Let it dry for at least a couple days to ensure it's all dry and secure to the board and mount. Still always use a tether of some sort to the front binding though, as there's always the chance the GoPro can still come off.
  11. I pack the night before (like everyone else) including boards but before leaving I physically point to my body parts to be sure I have everything, starting with my feet. If you saw me standing in my driveway pointing at my body parts you'd probably wonder WTF I was doing. Boards Boots Warm leg layers Shell for legs (if I'm not wearing them) Knee braces Left knee pad Back Brace Spine Protector Warm upper layer Extra upper layer Coat/Shell Glove liners Mittens Extra Mittens Neck Gator Face Mask Skull Cap Helmet Goggles Extra Lenses Camelbak I back the car out then usually get out and run through the checklist a second time
  12. We’re headed to Buttermilk. See you guys on Tiehack chair later.
  13. @pow4ever @lake effect mike and I will be riding on Sunday through Saturday. Although Bob mentioned Buttermilk and the Kids program on Sunday, I can't imagine they'd be on the Tiehack lift? Buttermilk has been the one to go to on weekends for us for crowds. That's probably where we'll head on Sunday. Slot is groomed (at least the last few years) M-W-F. Unfortunately, Monday looks to be a bit snowy.
  14. Thanks for the info Jack! I guess I'll try to buy some more used bumpers, although hard to come by.
  15. I just bought an Apex X Plate and looking at it, I thought you would mount the bumpers (the Gecko like bumpers) in the direction of your bindings. So in the photo below, it's mounted for a regular footer on the upper right yellow circle and the lower left red circle. While riding and talking with @HillB she rides hers mounted at the yellow circles. What's the pros/cons of each? How do you ride your X Plate? Also, there's two positions at the yellow circle at the front of the plate. Again, pros/cons of closer to axle vs forward of axle? Thanks
