C5 Golfer

I would need to change the tires every 10,000 miles and the wheels every 30,000 miles. I could hit 253mph top end but I could not drive 253 miles in an hour - even if I had a straight road that long.. know why? Cuz I would use its 26 gal of fuel in approx 50 miles. If I needed a new tranny it would cost $172,000. When my 60,000 mile service comes up the car would be split in half and serviced by a mobile workstation which is flown into my home town. :lurk:

Thanks Pat.. I have been on HDTV for quite sometime.. with antenna -- just a small one sitting near the TVs == I have three in the house.. most days are great...when the weather changes - heavy rain sometimes I loose a channel or have to move the antenna. Can't complain for Free Airwaves..

After watching them in that heat and the climb... I don't see how there are any left. We did a 60 mile 4650 feet gain that morning and then watched -- it hurt 2X just watching them as I recovered.

Lance is not "My Man" - I was pullin for him or anyone over 30.. Damn I wish there was someone over 60 so I could pull for him instead. I am also pullin for Team Lampre-- small chance of winning but I like underdogs.. Just like Rachel Alexandra and Karch Kiraly in his older years and of course Kenny Perry who has never won a Green "jersey" - but a helluva player.

Hey Skully -- I did not see it as a pissin contest -- we were just having a nice discussion -- thanks.. throwing a few friendly barbs now and then is ok with me.. crap.. you should see/hear my golf foursome on the 1st T sometimes -- It livens the party. Have a good day... ride well. BTW what so you ride for a 2 wheeler? I ride a Serotta Legend Ti when it is dry and a Sekai steel when it is wet. Looking at adding a carbon to my stable in the next couple of months. Go Wilier!!

This is a set up=hoax I think.. there is no recoil in the shotgun, and there is a camera down range looking at the golfers -- I think they all knew before the first shot. Plus all of them are close together.. not a real driving range set up. Golfers tend to spread out -- plus there is a step ladder on the range for the camera man...

My GF has SRAM Rival --- brand new build a month ago. She loves the way the back shifts..but the front shift is very poor--- very stiff and not too positive. Quite often misses a shift to the Big Chain Ring. She loves her front shift on her other road bike with Shimano -- We have had it into to two high end shops and they try this and that but both say that is just about how it is with these. One thinks that it may be many things even the large Chain Ring being too flexible, Wants to replace the current SRAM with a Shimano Ultegra Compact Crank and Bottom Bracket. I have not ridden a Campy equipped bike - only Shimano -- I like the way my Serotta Legend which is Ti shifts and rides and no sore joints or butt after a long ride. We have been doing about 100 miles and 5000 feet of elev lately - getting her trained for her big ride coming up in July.

Sorry to hear of your trouble. First off where is the Bio Dad? But on to a suggestion -- have you thought about enlistment into the Army or Marines? Being an ex Army dude I saw many problem childs get their head fixed, depends on many factors but it is worth a chance.

I always have a glass of red wine around when I BBQ--sometimes I even put some in the food.

Jack -- I like your Smoker/ grill pick but anyone who marinades a salmon should have their lift ticket and riding privileges taken away. Salmon should be grilled/smoked only with alder wood.. a little seasoning and pepper is all you need. Unless you are talking the fake farm raised salmon which is chemically color altered and or the weird fish called Atlantic Salmon which is not as tasty as a Pacific salmon.. :D:D

During your solution meeting - can you talk about all the CO2 it takes to make a bicycle? It seems there are too many bikes in the world and they were not here during the ice age. Also- the number of older women is on the rise with hot flashes.. it has to add up to heating the earth.
