  1. I've seen up to 4 meters difference in boards the same length. Daneille
  2. I still have a Burton Asym Air that I rode with plates Daneille
  3. My first carve board was a Nitro Scorpion. I bought it at Stormriders. They haven't had anything like that in a long time Daneille
  4. That's too bad Linus. I hope you end up liking the bindings though. The USPS wanted $30 to ship from this end, not inexpensive either. Daneille
  5. If your talking about Wave Rave at Mammoth they used to sell and demo hard gear. We got our Reactors the first year they came out there. Daneille
  6. I think you should try, buy, ride whatever interests you. You're going to end up buying more stuff anyway. I don't think you will have any problem carving. It will end up being a choice of what style of riding and type of equipment you prefer. You have to start somewhere. Daneille
  7. Sweet Some real nice shots in there. Daneille
  8. Here's a pic. They are in very good shape. Daneille
  9. I have a pair of Xbones for sale with both types of disks included. I am asking 60$ including shipping but I am not sure about shipping to Canada though? I also prefer Paypal non credit card. Daneille
  10. My powder ride is a Burton Supermodel 161. I'm also fairly small and use plates and 413's with no board issues. I've always enjoyed carving on this board even though it is short. Daneille
  11. I can compare the Reactors and the 413's. I haven't used the Fire. My 413's are way softer than the Reactors were. They are also noticeably lighter. Daneille
  12. I will be getting TD2's this year and will be riding flat. I am currently riding TD1's the same. I have rode different lift and cant over the years and much prefer flat. Daneille
  13. Kip, you should definitely look into it. If nothing else it's an inexpensive day at Kirkwood and you do get discounts at the other resorts. I think E ticket deal is that you have to preorder and then pick up your ticket at the resort. We bought ours for the Kirkwood deal. Daneille
  14. I am always riding boards that I shouldn't be. I am very curious about different board qualities and have a need to know, so, I ride stuff. Daneille
  15. No tunes for me. I feel safer being able to hear what's coming at me, either from the trees or behind. Of coarse it might be good to have them so I can say "what" when I am being told to do something better  even though I asked. Daneille
  16. We get season passes too. Mt. Rose, great carving mountain, $299 full pass with a few blackout dates. It is even good Christmas day Daneille
  17. $800-1,000, problem is that I am still trying to figure out what exactly I want. I like wider (20-23) and longer. What I am working out is stiffness. It isn't that easy since I am kinda small and the boards I like to ride are for much heavier riders. My riding improves incrementally each season and I have buckets of fun but I am nowhere near the mad skills I am working toward. Daneille
  18. In terms of years many. In terms of days on snow, not enough. Daneille
  19. We always have dark duct tape in the car. It works great for quick fix on pants, gloves and jackets. I have seen people showing more tape than pants. Daneille
  20. 46, hairdresser. I dig fatter boards Let there be snow. Daneille
  21. Thanks for the taste of winter. I am looking forward to more video. Daneille
  22. Is Bomber Butter an acceptable grease for this purpose? Daneille
