I've found that a six pack of German beer along with a big plate of saurkraut and baked beans the night before usually keeps them backed up pretty well.

Thanks...It is interesting to "see" the other side of carving. For me, I have been riding for almost 20 years and never gave much thought to serious competition. I just enjoy taking my kids out and tearing it up with them every day. For those (like me) who ride hard, but just lurk here, it would be cool to find out competition/team bios on those who have it. -

About the avatar.......Friends gave me the nickname Bubba when I moved to SE Minnesota. Figured I needed a pic to suit my "handle". Scary thing is that it wouldn't be too hard to find someone that looks like that down here.

Kent, For the Cheq 40, I would go with the hardtail any day. Don't know if you've ever raced it, but it is like a 40 mile sprint. Smooth, fast and nothing too technical. We used Conti cross country 1.5's, almost like being on a road bike. Thats my 2$ Kenton

Thanks for the info guys. I wasn't planning on doing a couple of grand worth of mods. I already spend too much on the stock car. I'll check into the minimum it would take to give the "c" class a shot. If I came home with a 4-stroke, the barn would be my new home.:( -

Speedzilla, How hard (and expensive) would it be to try supermoto on my YZ250? Is there a track near the cities to ride? Would the 4-strokes blow me away? -

I race dirt track in the modified class (very fast). :D Test and tune is in three weeks. Now that the snowboarding season is over, I can't wait to turn left again! -

I molded mine with a lighter and a can of WD40, then I doused the flames with a bottle of Old Milwaukee. Those things fit like a pair of bike shorts now.:D

I don't know how this would work for snowboarding, but for stock car racing I use a neck brace beneath the helmet to keep my head from bouncing around too much. You would probably need to wear at least an MX style helmet to get the support it was designed for. Check out the Summit Racing website, they have a few models there. Hope this is helpful.

It's the MSRL snowboard league. Developmental league with teams from different ski areas. I think Hyland is the X-team. Will you be there? I started on of our kids on hardboots this week and he took to it really well. Am anxious to see how he does through gates.

An old girlfriend asked why her turn signal wasn't working. I told her that the blinker fluid was low and to get some from the auto store. She wasn't to happy with me after being laughed out of the store. Playing golf with her she asked why my golf balls said "Taylor Made". I went into an elaborate explanation that they were custom balls "Taylor Made" to my swing speed, clubs, etc........ I could keep going but will stop now. -

Paul, I think the 149's will be too long. I need the board for an 8 y.o. who rides a 129 freestyle. Any idea if a 20cm jump in board length is ok for someone his age? We do GS in our league and I think this kid would rip if he got on a race board. Kenton
