  1. Don't forget to bring a nice evening gown and heels too!
  2. No, the angle is not "indexed" if you mean some sort of ridge or tooth to ensure exact stop position like a Burton. It has an infinetley adjustable centre disk. Again, at best, it's an estimate too because the centre disk has slots that allow plenty of clearance for the mounting screw to pass through. Rear bail does have a stop to ensure positive engagement to the boot when getting in.
  3. Nearly all the parts (save for the base plate goodies) on the F2 Carve RS and INTEC™ RS are compatible with the Race Titanium and INTEC™ Titanium bindings. I don't know how many parts Bomber stocks for the F2 bindings but we have an extensive stock. Oddly enough... we haven't sold ANY spare parts for F2 bindings in 4 seasons other than lost screws and EDS pads. So the short of it... parts are here in North America, Bomber for USA, and YYZCANUCK for Canada.
  4. One thing that might work for you is to try making cross-under transitions while fairly upright rather than crouched and low. This will make pulling the legs up much easier and you'll soon get the feel of that motion. After mastering the pull and place technique, you can start to do it faster and with a more compact body.
  5. I won't speak on behalf of the Bomber crew but I'll put my own 2 cents in about this... "Yeah, you can certainly demo all the boards you want but keep in mind that a demo isn't meant to be an all day event. With that in mind, I believe 45 minutes to an hour is more than enough to determine what you like or dislike about a board.... DEMO OVER, BRING THE DAMN BOARD BACK!!" There, I've said it and feel much better now. So, having said that, I'd suggest bringing your 'go to' carver and taking the occasional spin on the great demo fleet that Bomber organizes with help from the event sponsors. The other choice is don't bring your carver and have to swap boards every hour.
  6. If you have one and have the room... bring some sort of "powder" board. Something wide that will float you. Last year Andrea and I didn't and had to beg/borrow/steal something to ride. Sean (Donek) was the hero that day as he was the only person with freeride equipment to demo. He loaned me his "signature" board... Thanks! Other than that... I just take something in the 180-190 range with 15+m sidecut.
  7. If someone is thinking of buying the other goodies... I'd offer up $50 for the ConShox. Shipping will be to 14304, Niagara Falls, NY.
  8. Looks like Beth is bringing her twin sister Beth!!
  9. I've cleaned house twice now... literally sold them all except my 'favourite' at the time. Each time I simply bought more boards. "Note to self - Don't sell, you just buy again and sometimes it's the same model board!"
  10. I was hoping YOU did!! We don't.
  11. Ditto... I don't want to spend too long re-polishing the base edge after a structure.

  13. anyone there and have a report?

  15. Tom, I'm just curious about the progressive resistance. I haven't ridden with the BTS but I can't see how they provide a progressive resistance. Can you provide some more info on what you feel. In all the above threads, nobody has mentioned the LCBFL^2 system! That's the Lower Cuff Buckle Forward Lean Limiter to those that don't like acronyms. By adjusting how tight the lower cuff buckle/band is, you can increase or decrease the amount of forward lean. Tighter = less forward lean. Looser = more forward lean. In fact, I'd go as far as to call this a Progressive Resistance device because as the fixed diameter of the boot cuff is flexed forward it meets more resistance due to the ever increasing girth of the lower shell.
  16. Why not go the DeeLuxe Speed Liner route?
  17. I rememeber Jupiter Bowl... and wondering how the heck I was going to get down from there!! Hiking along a ridge with nothing on either side isn't something I'm used to. The trail I'm referring too must have been at the Canyons. It is literally a creek that fills with snow and makes for a 1->2 metre wide slot car track. The only way out is by going all the way down or climbing the walls.
  18. And the plot thickens!!! Hmmm... this is starting to bug me. What the heck is going on?
  19. Skully, what's the name of that creek/stream bed that you and Billy took Kenneth and I down?
  20. No joking... look-up Phil Fell, Dave Tille and Bill Bordy. They may be race oriented but they've probably learned to carve pretty well too. They're also a barrel of laughs.
  21. Sounds ugly!! Good thing they're INSIDE the boot and not outside!! This is true. The INTUITION and DeeLuxe heat moldable liners tend to add noticable resistance to the forward flex of the boot. Let me clarify... this pertains only to the 'wrap' tongue style liner. The only thing about those two boots (SB225 and LeMans) that is the same is the mold they're made from. Both are the original symetric flex shell design. Plastic material and liner construction will both contribute to the boots feeling different from one another.
