  1. you sell the tws ones ? looking for anything from 1994 1995-2000
  2. Mike said it best... Everyone like it different and do what works for you.
  3. Nevin is also riding Deeluxe boots.. Those boots are noodles compared to NW. This is the reason he needs them locked down super tight.
  4. Did you have the classic liners ? Lateral stiffness should be coming from your shells not really your liner ... I would say 80/20 I tried all the liners when I was visiting Sven and classic was the best IMO SI carver is the best place that I know of... Ivan is a great guy and sick service
  5. I would be curious to see your setup. It could be because your twisting and because the liners are there to help your fighting against them... Could be a set up issue not boots.. Crazy part about that is when I first got my hands on NW boots in 2008 I hated them and tried to sell them to Vic Wild who was on my team... Little did I know the stock liners were so bad the experience was horrifying. When I switched to ZIP life changed and I never looked back since.
  6. They are not stiff.... They are the perfect balance... Think about it... You can have a really stiff boot paired with a super unsupported liner and the boots are still stiff. Northwave boots are not that stiff. The offer very nice forward flex and you need a liner that works together with your shell.... I actually hate stiff boots and liners.. If you cant flex your boot then how can you expect to create power on the board.... You cant....
  7. Slapos, I have been riding this setup since 2008. With ZipFit you don't really need to heat mold anything... The cork in the liner just molds to your foot and the rest is focussed on making fast turns.
  8. Snow is really good here now, however we did have a rough start with all the warm weather. Have a good season
  9. Sorry to hear about your experience. What year was your gear and what did you have ? On a side note regarding the color red, I would encourage some research as this attribute with red is very common across every industry. Those jackets were actually made at the old ARC factory so its possible they did not have the aliens working that day Here is some science facts behind it. Dyes and pigments work by absorbing certain wavelengths of light and reflecting or transmitting the rest. When a dye molecule absorbs a photon, an electron is excited to a higher energy state. Most of the time (neglecting fluorescence), the molecule de-excites by giving off heat and returns to the ground state intact. However, because the excited state is a high energy state, it has the potential to undergo a chemical reaction, breaking a covalent bond or otherwise irreversibly reacting with another molecule. This changes the electronic structure of the molecule which changes its absorption properties: e.g. many dyes that absorb visible light have large systems of conjugated double bonds and if these are broken, the absorbance can shift to much shorter wavelengths. How likely this kind of destructive chemistry is depends on the nature of the dye. ( our new materials are custom made in Japan so they do perform better then the past material which came from Korea ) Even with cars, red paint can often degrade faster because it absorbs higher energy (shorter wavelength) light. The more energy that is available, the more likely it is that reactions will occur. You guys start the season yet ?
  10. Any red jacket suffers from this reaction. Red is actually the worst color when it comes to fading regardless of the color fast recipe. The 2015 FA design CASI jackets were a custom design. The red jackets you see are exactly what they wanted and requested at the time.
