I weigh 180lb and it was soft for me, @140 it might feel bit stiff in the beginning but over time you will get used to it. BTW, what's your boot size? Catek I have is short plate which will accommodate upto size 10 US and 180 lb.

This is true, Jack. guess I should start saving up for next Expression Session instead of spending lot of time looking up reviews, comments and youtube (riders style, board's reaction, steepness of terrain, snow condition, etc)
