  1. Payment sent. But, size 28.5 is like a tight 11. I am between 28 and 28.5, and depending on the shoe, 10.5-11.

Still trying to figure details... I signed my daughter up for their full day camp, which is amazing for the kids, on Thursday the 18th (Wednesday is our travel day). Trouble is, my friend (where we were going to stay!) in Somersworth, is now in the ER at MGH. Trying to salvage the trip, as I really want my daughter to get the camp. I am still expecting to be there the 18th though. I hope. If you're there and want to try meeting up, send me a message! 5eight5 7five0 1zero7two I wish I were around more, but since moving out of NH and having kids, I can only get up there a couple times. If you're ever in upstate NY, I'd could meet up!

Heading to Bretton Woods around the 18th... any insight on conditions, current favorite trails, etc? I usually head there or WV this time of year and I'm normally a fan of McIntire and Bode over on Rosebrook side, or Starr over on West side.
  4. Practice skating. Flexed bent front leg for absorbing what comes, and get your balance. I like pushing off before the rest of the people on the lift. Maybe my board and bindings are right, maybe it's the experience, but I don't drift or track, so I don't use stomp pads. Far more fun to swing that back leg around, flailing and kicking so nobody runs over my board. I've had the experience of getting boot stuck under the chair during dismount, don't really want to do that. Clipping in toe bails is still a zillion times faster than straps. Tip - heel side down the mountain and dig in that edge (standing still, across the fall line) makes it a lot easier to engage heel bail and thus clip in as well.
  5. http://forums.bomberonline.com/index.php?/topic/42508-for-sale-deeluxe-track-325-t-boots/#entry432298 This looks perfect for you.
  6. I just got 28s a couple weeks ago. They fit beautifully with room to spare. As I said, I wish I'd gone up to 29.0 with my feet actually measuring 28.2, but the 28s will do, after heat molding.
  7. Sent pm. His boot sole is 329mm. My raichle (28.5 liner) were 319 and barely, scarily, fit. My new boots (28.0) have sole length 303mm. It would be great to have some max sole length identified on the binding sale page. Imo, these boots aren't gonna fit. And for centering.. it's irrelevant when you have maxed out the adjustments.
  8. The photo of your heel bail in place and where the toe lines up looks identical to what mine did. Trying to upload photo of my boot size, stamped on inside heel of the boots. Says 319mm. Fold back the top 2 buckles and it says "28-30.5", so these are some pretty big boots. I wear size 10.5 shoe, if that helps. Your new bindings are good. Just slip the toe lever over, it'll be a tight squeeze. Barely fits, and you'll think it doesn't. Then latch it down. Your boot will be locked in tighter than you imagined possible.
  9. It's just that they're tighter than expected, I bet. At 28.5, I was locked DOWN. Barely got the bail over. Just crank it.
  10. I have the same boots, 28.5. I didn't think they fit, but once you max out all the settings they do. Barely. You have to keep the toe bail angled a little up as you slide it over the toe of the boot then crank it down. In the house it seems really sketchy and I posted the same comment here. On the mountain the cold seems to help and you get used to it. It's far different from my previous burton race bindings. My new purchase this year was some 325s. It's far better. If you can swing it...
  11. I read about trying to modify the boots, but if I am going to drop that much for a new pair of boots I expect them to fit. After getting my refund I ordered some 325s, which fit with the td3 with no problem, and they fit my feet. The heel cup of the upz seemed better, but the deeluxe are just fine. The only huge benefit of the upz is the built in spring system, from what I can tell.
  12. "This video does not exist". Followed link on another thread for instructions, page does not exist anymore. I got some 325 this winter and now am looking to mold them. Nobody around here seems to know anything, so will do them myself... If I can find instructions!
  13. Fast advice.. go with the softie as it likely has higher nose lift. Low angles but not duck. Set bindings back toward tail. Or, check with rental shop?
  14. Blowing snow... Check the webcams. Maybe some riding over vacation?? My favorite trail starting last year is where the terrain park used to be, now above the Nastar course. Fairly wide, not much traffic. I'm there Saturday mornings until about 2, starting right after school vacation, chaperoning ski club.
  15. I ordered a pair of rc-10's and they arrived a couple weeks ago. I was super excited, after having read as much as I could comparing Deeluxe and UPZ. Narrow feet, heel lift, shorter footprint, built in spring system... seemed like a dream. Customer service was amazing, very helpful, very friendly. I got the 28.5, fit was right on the money, though maybe a touch close on my pinky toe, but not a deal breaker. But I noticed two problems, in case anybody is similar to my feet... My top of my foot, just under the ankle buckle, was just getting crushed, regardless of how loose I set that buckle, or the surrounding buckles. It was just a function, I think, of the shape of the outer shell. Sent email to Dan, he suggested ordering a thinner tongue, but I didn't want to go that route, as the boot (liner) seemed lean enough and if there were less, it would just not be enough support or warmth for me. Other thing I noticed when trying to love these boots was the tight fit with my new TD3 standards. These bindings don't have a spring to pop the heel bail up, and the bail thickness is slightly greater than the gap in the heel of the boot. I had trouble buckling in, standing in my living room. If it is a problem there, I didn't want to face that on a freezing evening at the top of the hill. I just had to send them back, he refunded with no problem. Again, Dan was amazing, the boots were a great option, but seemed like my scenario just wasn't ideal for these boots. For my first new boots since 1997, and first new hard boots ever, I want them right.
  16. Looks perfect for my son to learn. Any idea of waist width? How much camber left?
  17. email sent ___________ Sorry, I'm out...
  18. Good luck on catching the guy. I get so pissed about this kind of thing. I'll keep an eye on ebay and whatever else I can find. Guess I know where I'm going next winter (I hope) for a new board!
  19. Fwiw, I bought one of the twins of this board last year, I assume. Turned out she scored like 9 World Cup medals and a few Olympic medals. One of the pioneers of Olympic snowboarding at Nagano. I asked her to sign my board! Thanks Ursula! Board is so much fun to ride. Stable, fast. Absorbs east coast narrow chop nicely!
  20. Friend of mine growing up rode skateboard goofy but snowboard regular. I skated goofy and snowboard goofy. When we were instructors in the early 90s we'd shove people from behind and see what foot they stepped forward with. Now I have a son, I had to switch him because he kept just riding switch. Figured, why not just make that the nose instead of the tail? He's been riding regular ever since. I think you just get used to one or the other if your natural tendency isn't obvious, and wouldn't really mess with it.
  21. Hoping for something lightly used, couple years old.
  22. New purchase for me this year will be boots. Looking at track 325 vs free69. I'm just an old free carver, narrow iced coast trails. Currently on old Raichle af700ts (yes, they're old). Any comparison on stiffness to what I've got? What about weight? Planning to get bts system, I assume that precludes other brand options? Edit: stepped on scale with both boots, weight is 13.2 pounds for the pair.
  23. Liftie telling me I should go hit the nastar gates they had recently set up because I was making such hard carves. Caught up to a boarder and started slalom carving with him down the rest of the hill... looked different but I couldn't put my finger on it while riding. Light day, so we ended up on the lift together and I saw exactly what it was. Tele-board. I'd never seen one, so we had a great talk about similarities and differences.
  24. Okay, I just went back based on your input that it's a very close fit. I jammed the toe bail over the toe and compressed my boot into it. It's a REALLY tight fit. Like, crushing the boot toe tight, but it's in there. I'll give them a call to find out, and look for a longer bail. It seriously doesn't look right. Found the 319mm printed on the boot. I wear 29.5, think the shell is for 29-32? Regular TD3.
