  1. Woah there! Not doin that. These are practically new! :D
  2. I never touch the stuff. The gloves were originally my gf's. She was the one who ripped them like that in the first place. She thinks something caught on it and ripped it. On top of that they were a little big on her, so she gave them to me. They're 60 dollar gloves so I was like hell yes!
  3. AH! Thanks for covering my back Shawn. I'll make that correction right away :o
  4. I can send more pics upon request when I recieve the bindings, FWIW. :)
  5. Well, I haven't recieved the bindings yet, but I'm wanting to get some stuff lined up so all I have to do is play hot potato. The TD2s I'm getting are step-ins. 1) I'm wanting to trade the step-in toe and heel blocks for standard toe and heel blocks. 2) I also want to trade a 3 degree TD2 cant for a 6 degree cant. Straight trade, each person pays their shipping. If someone can do both, all the better. If not, oh well. As far as I can tell from the pics provided both the cant and step in heels are in good condition (see pic below).
  6. lol...was he ok after that contortion?
  7. 3:27-3:31...The Best. This may have just inspired me to get into downhill boarding
  8. This weekend may be your weekend to go to Lookout, balebombsman. Free skiing for everyone (at least according to Lookout's site). I'll be up there! Maybe I'll see a Bomber there too (Kathy? bbm?).
  9. Well my gf's sewing didn't hold up :p. My gloves persist on ripping open on the inside of my thumb. I already tried duct tape, but it won't stick very well on the plastic/rubber stuff on the glove. The only other thing I can think of that will work well is silicone, but I don't have any in my dorm. Does anyone have anyone have any ideas for fixes? I may just have to end up waiting until I go back home (~7 weeks). The seasons almost over anyway :(
  10. Front binding with a 3* cant toe: heel: Rear binding with a 6* cant toe: Front binding: Rear binding: As you can see, I have what seems to be a 6 degree bumper on the front binding and it's barely thick enough. As I said before, I already tired both positions with the 6* bumper on the rear binding with no luck. Does Bomber sell an extra long screw so I can stack some washers to gain a little length? Or am I stuck
  11. Yup...tried both positions with the thick one. Still no contact. Although it's a relief to see that an aggressive carver such as yourself has never had a problem with them. I'm only about 145lbs and just starting, so I don't think I'll put the board under toooo much stress. I'm still gonna get those TD2s though :) Thanks, Jack.
  12. Does it make a difference that I'm just a beginner? I'm not sure I can stress it enough at this point for a delam. I may be wrong though. I may just slap my race plates until I can get some replacements. :(
  13. Don't worry Jack, the bumper is just sitting on the board . It's one I got from fellow member, but, as you said, it's not the right size. I have a thicker one, but that one doesn't fit either. Why should I delete this thread?
  14. First, a picture: I measure the space between the plate and the board to be about 2.3-2.4cm. I believe the bumber shown is a 3*. I have a 6*, but it still wont make contact with the board when mounted on the binding. What do I do?! Is there a bumber that can clear that gap?
  15. $150 for just the board. The bindings (Bomber TD1s) are on the Volkl and thus not for sale. Again, just the board. I'm going to feel really stupid if Arne proves me wrong on all this. :D
  16. Someone on BOL needs to do that and film it
  17. I recommend posting an ad in the wanted section. You'll have better luck there. Good luck.
