  1. The one day I decided to do a serious DH day, first run, hit 40 mph. Needless to say I almost s**t my pants that run. Of course, the next run, I hit 45 mph, stinkbug, and hello sprained wrist! Since then I haven't gone any faster.
  2. Specs of the board? Indy/core 215's with venom bushings? what wheels are those?
  3. What slide is a "double tap?" unless I'm misunderstanding.
  4. Well mine have black bushings, and according to his chart, there aren't any black superballs.
  5. what about tracker racetrack bushings?
  6. The Nidecker Proto has a form of magnetraction in its edge. I believe it is only in the middle part of the board though. The other part of magnetraction is the fact that after a few sharpenings, its going to wear away.
  7. I'd much rather let a little of the board stick out on the nose and tail than let my trucks take a full speed run into cement. Hell, they sell rubber nose protectors.
  8. You can't 'slide' the randals in because of the 'wings' on the baseplate. Only paris, indy, and any trucks that have a base without any extra edges or anything would work to actually slide in the mount.
  9. Albert is a no-go for sunday. anyone interested?
  10. I'm talking to Albert about it. Anyone else interested? Erwin? Mike? Aaron? Robert? Theo?
  11. I'm in! (As long as Andrea is in ;) ) 3/25 works in my case, unlike last year.
  12. Not to mention the oh-so delicious and over priced food and drinks for sale!
  13. My elim/bitch combination isn't loose at all, unless you aren't tightening the kingpin nut to the "no slop point?"
  14. Gecko: What bushings are on those 215's? They look very similar to the way I have mine set up orange eliminator boardside, blue bitch roadside
  15. That just looks like so much fun for dancing.
  16. Well, exactly. The dervish broke because it was an experimental thing. We were using 2/3 (1/2" instead of 3/4") the amount of wood we normally did. Now we use fiberglass to reinforce our boards The Double-Double, is 3/4" thick, not including the mounting stuff. It's rock solid.
  17. Yeah, Mittens was a feral cat, three weeks old, left for dead by the mom cat (who took the other three kittens of the litter) in a rain storm in my shed with hypothermia. We took her inside and after a few days she was healthy, and after a few weeks, she was walking around and eating on her own. November would of made it three years.
  18. Coincidence that you posted a SUP board.... I'm sure Andrea will explain.
  19. Mammoth got some snow about a week ago, just a light dusting though.
  20. My cat was struck by a car tonight. Killed instantly. I don't drive, but I wish people would be a little more cognitive when they do.
  21. ...que es esto?! anyone else see the problem with this?
  22. You call it. It's a game of honor. And trust me, you WILL call it. Have you ever been shot with a .43gram bb flying at 550 feet per second? it hurts, there is a reaction (and satisfaction for the shooter) Its one of those things that you have to try to really understand.
  23. Depends on the field. if its an indoor field, they usually change the scenery ever week or so, and when they do that, they remove all the obstacles, and sweep the floors of all the bb's. if its an outdoor field they either, 1) require you to use biodegradable bb's or 2) do the same as at an indoor field, but obviously they can't get every last bb at an outdoor field.
