  1. so its really not needed unless you're running GS or SuperG ? (6 wheeler) I've seen some used in DH as well. any comments on that? (benefits?) Any specific precision truck you would recommend? I like the Surf-Rodz but those dont come in slalom sizes...do they?
  2. How much do the boards run for?
  3. how come you have all these candy spanks (clutch?) boards?
  4. That's interesting. So basically, it feels more like a brick then ever before? Kinda like comparing a mazda rx-8 to a ford truck? which brings up another question of mine, are precision trucks worth the money? I could slide out on some 80a speedvents running slalom courses, but I haven't slid out on my 86a zigzags yet....ever.
  5. ...really? I was expecting some complex response or something... It seems like the extra wheels would also increase surface area touching the road meaning it would be a bit slower. Does it feel any different than just using one rear truck?
  6. ...and how old are you now?
  7. what's the purpose of the dual rear trucks? more grip?
  8. Today, I feel like trying something new Flat spin with a push-up clap mid-slide. Video? I think so.
  9. anyone? I found a nice run by my place with minimal traffic I'd say you hit 20ish in a tuck. there are speed "humps" which don't really affect me. We could go back to walnut with albert I liked the last little slide session we had.
  10. I know two carvers who ride with full body armor on - same stuff made for motocross
  11. And what's so special about the D.O.G. ?
  12. I'm looking for a skennett or a 4.3 for front, 86mm or 106mm rts for rear. Right now I'm borrowing a 5.0 and 129 rts from bullwings. 86a 66mm zigzags and the Axe 2.5 I bought from him I'm either going to drill a shorter base on the axe, or make a board with a 19" ish WB.
  13. I know, but its still fun
  14. Because its more challenging than our pathetic HS courses! :p I want to grab a skennett, along with drilling a shorter wheel base on the Axe 2.5 - probably 19" ish.
  15. Now that looks fun! I'll go out this weekend and work on some slides
  16. Oh......... well, sorry for the confusion! do you know how to do them...?
  17. I don't want to do a heelside though i want to stay in my toeside position through the whole thing. i've seen people do it before. it's the slide where you look like you're doing a push up
  18. are you talking about doing two toeside 180s? like doing this? -) (-
  19. okay... well i'm still confused on the second half of the 360. because instead of riding regular, im riding fakie during the second half. im just all around confused in hand placement and movement. because you're on the opposite side...
  20. http://www.milehighskates.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=22&products_id=1775&osCsid=72d9334f8bb19c95f0da12f5b8d1a407 15 bucks!
  21. Well what I can do, is do a 180 toeside, then a 180 heelside switch to finish it, but that's not a full 360 toeside. I'm confused, becuase (are you reg or goofy?) I'm not sure about hand placement for my second 180. Because then i'd be riding fakie (not switch)
  22. I found that out a month ago. haha. I'm used to them now, im controlling my slides, getting a 25-foot shut down is common for me right now. But what about throwing in a 360? When ever i try to spin more than 180, it always stops at 180. anyone?
  23. hehehe.... I have a messed up wrist from stink bugging at 40 mph. I learned the hard way.
  24. Sooooooo I'm getting into tech sliding and stuff. For heelsides - grab the board, or don't? I've done both, grab the board over my back leg, and not grab the board at all. Which is better? Some people say not to grab the board at all For toesides - 360 help! My toesides always stop at 180* How do I turn them into 360's?
