  1. I have a pair. Loved the fit and comfort but they made my boots stiffer than I like (I like a really soft boot). I have the Gara which is one of the stiffest in the lineup. The Classic would have been a better choice. I took them out and put them in my soft boots (Burton Driver X), and the result was the perfect stiffness with the best fitting softboot liner I've ever experienced. I'll probably pick up a pair of Classics for my hard boots.
  2. These are 2015 Union Ultras, one of the lightest, if not the lightest softboot binding available. 760 grams compared to 1150 for Burton Cartels. Lightly used. Some paint wear inside the frame and a bit of wear on the inside ankle strap. Stiff, strong, responsive. Carbon fiber high back. $400+ retail. Review here: http://thegoodride.com/snowboard-binding-reviews/union-ultra-2015-2017-snowboard-binding-review/ One caveat - the binding is equipped with 4x2 mini-discs. $200 USD. Shipping $20 USA or Canada. SOLD
  3. I'm actually starting out with 2 days at Kimberley. The weather there is crap too with above freezing temps for the last two weeks and with no letup in sight. That's why I was thinking of going farther north. But even Jasper is +6 today. I think I will just cancel my hotel reservation at Fernie and then wing it after the Kimberley leg. I do have a car.
  4. I'm booked to go to Fernie first week of March. But the conditions right now look really bad with all the warm temps and some rain. It's not too late for me to change my booking so I'm now thinking Banff. Has anyone been to Sunshine and or Lake Louise lately? How's it look? I'm bringing freeride gear and looking for powder. The hard boots will stay home this trip.
  5. Bought these in 2009 but I don't ski often so they have maybe 15 days on them. I bought them intending to ski and board with them but I didn't use them much on my snowboard. They fit fine on my F2 bindings but, because of their stiffness, they were a bit too responsive (ie. unforgiving). I've now picked up a pair of Full Tilts so I would like to move these. Condition is very good, consistent with 15 days use. Liners are in very good shape. The stock footbeds are new since I use a custom orthotic. They were over $600 new so I'm thinking $250 is a fair price now. I'm open to reasonable offers. $40 shipping in Canada. $50 to USA. Pickup can be arranged in Toronto area. The boot is based on the Raichle Flexon Comp design but modernized. The three buckle system with top strap holds my foot down really well. I usually have problems with heel lift but not in these boots. I have a regular width foot and it's a good, snug fit. Anyone with wide feet should avoid these. I would say the 27.5 size is pretty accurate. If you're a size 10 or 10.5 street size, these will fit nicely. Flex is progressive - 90 to 120.
  6. I was in Tux, Austria last January. I knew little about the area except for Hintertux Glacier which is used for training by a lot of snowboard teams. I only went because a tradeshow (ISPO) was having their on-snow demo days there. It was carve heaven. Runs as wide as a 4 lane highway, impeccably groomed every morning. Every lift was state-of-the-art, a couple of them with heated seats. Great food, great beer. Serious fun apres ski. Only downer is that they still allow public smoking in Austria which means all the smokers from Germany flock to the place. Highly recommended.
  7. Bryan: We're getting out of Dupraz boards so clearing out remaining stock. I sent you an email with details. Henry
  8. These are gathering dust so make me an offer. The 168 is a great junior or ladies board.
  9. Only the large Flows left. If you can use them, make an offer.
  10. Canadian National Team rider Ariane Lavigne. Trains out of Tremblant.
  11. We're practically neighbours. Sent you an email.
  12. Last item for while. This should make my wife happy, getting all this stuff out of the basement. These boots are like new, only worn twice. $75.00. Add $30 shipping for Canada, $40 for USA. My brother bought these for his kid and they are way too big for him. I tried them once and they're about a half size too big for me. Mondo 28 which is closer to 10.5 than 10, IMO. They are Atomic Waiver about 4 seasons old. They are pretty stiff. Found a review on EVO but mine are not BOA: Atomic Waiver BOA Snowboard Boots - Demo 2007: The Atomic Waiver BOA Snowboard Boots have everything you could ask for. 13. Tried to respond to your email but it bounced. Board is sold pending payment.
  14. D1 6' + Second one from the bottom in the chart I posted. Problem is, it's sold pending payment. Will let you know if it falls through.
  15. Jeff: I didn't get your email but just checked spam and there it was. Unfortunately, the Burton bindings are sold pending payment. Will let you know if it falls though.
  16. The basement purge continues. I have more snowboards than a man could ride in a lifetime. This is a tough one to part with because I rode it for the best, powder filled week ever in Fernie three years ago. Since then, it's been in my basement collecting dust. A fantastic tree riding board and one of the last models that was handmade in Vermont (correct me if I'm wrong, snowboard historians). There is one base gouge that was professionally filled. You can see it but can't feel it. This is the original Terje Haakonson designed shape with a much more dramatic pintail/taper than the current fish. $175.00 Ship to Canada $40, USA $50.
  17. My daughter (under 100 lbs at the time) blew up a pair of those Rossis. They were already pretty used up when I got them. There's a lot of plastic in those bindings and plastic deteriorates with exposure to UV. I would trust the Burtons over the Rossis but if I were you, I'd just spend $100-$150 on a good set of used bindings. F2, SnoPro, Bomber, Catek.
  18. The Flows and the mitts are very manly. Didn't get a PM. Does BOL have private messaging? Can you use the email feature?
  19. Digging through my basement and I realize I still have these.
  20. BTS sold. Thanks Charly. Regarding the small Flows - when my daughter last used them she was wearing a ladies 6. There was room for a couple of sizes more but it all depends on the boot. She was in a Flow boot which has a very streamlined toe. Some boots are so chunky, you can't fit them in Flow bindings. As for the mitts, I should mention they are size M (youth).
  21. Only items left are the large Flows and the 3 hole cant disc/Burton pad combo (items 1 and 3). Dropped the price on those. Clearing out some gear that I no longer need. Location is in Toronto. Tell me what you want and I can figure out shipping later. 1. Flow bindings large. Comes with both 3 hole and 4 hole discs. Condition is very good. No signs of wear or abuse. $70 2. SnowPro bindings. Not sure about size but they worked fine for my 27.5 boots with plenty of room in both directions. Comes with leash and photocopied manual. Condition is excellent, nearly new. SOLD 3. Extra pads for Burton bindings and 3 hole insert for cant disc. $10 4. Unicant disc for Burton bindings. $15 5. Burton bindings with cant plate, 4 and 3 hole centre disc for cant plate, 4 and 3 hole discs for bindings. Like new. SOLD 6. Bomber BTS spring kit with yellow springs. Good condition. Usual paint loss on the springs. SOLD 7. Flow bindings small with 4 hole discs only. Some wear on the leading edge of top. Still very usable. SOLD 8. Youth sized Burton support mitts. These have wrist supports built in. Never used. SOLD I'm picking these prices out of thin air so if you think they're out of line, make me an offer.
  22. Selling a Dupraz D1+ 6' that was used as a demo board for 5 days. The topsheet is called "Prestige". Very pretty. A couple of small lift line nicks as shown in the photos. The base is perfect. The board is located in Toronto, Canada. If you're local, I can can even give you a test ride before you commit. I think you'll be impressed. Fedex Ground shipping is $40 for Canada. $50 for most of USA. I will get an estimate as soon as I know the destination and charge the exact shipping. I could even bring this board back to its birthplace in Europe since I'm headed there in a few weeks. The first image shows you the specs:
