    April Fool's or what?
  2. Uh oh... I can already hear Riceball clicking away at his keyboard buying airfare for him and Alaina to wherever this is.
  3. In fact, I have seen this video and, you're absolutely right, this dude is awesome.
  4. Close, but no cigar. There was never one dude standing on the other's shoulders. Also, no pressure of a crowd and judges.
  5. I like pocket bike tools (they're cheaper than ski tools). For example, I ride with this and keep this nearby.
  6. Are you going to have the hardware removed at some point? One of my docs said many people with my installation eventually have theirs removed.
  7. Who of you think you can ride a bike better than a couple of girls? The answer can be found here.
  8. Already got those. As for myself, I'm going to start bringing an orthopedic surgeon every time I ride.
  9. Is it really that important to you to prove how small yours is?
  10. I can't recall if I ever gave Snowman full and proper credit for all he did for me after I, well after the other guy, broke my leg. From following me in the meat tray down the slope, sitting at the clinic, at the hospital, posting info and pics of the leg, driving me and my car back to Boulder and staying at my place for four days making sure I was properly set up to be on my own, he was like a mother hen in the best way. Mark, thank you. You are a true bud. Kimo
  11. 2 1/2 in weeks. Doing ok. Can certainly see that atrophy coming on. Otherwise, I'm highly mobile. Just bored out of my mind.
  12. So you're US Ski patrol? My sister's husband is the regional director of Oregon and what ever else states are in that region.
  13. Ouch. Talk about bursting someone's bliss bubble.
  14. Been there. Done that. Lots of witness at SES. I've felt and I feel your pain. Though it does seem you did more dammage, but I sure hurt for a couple days.
  15. Wow! I feel for ya buddy. Some ski lifts around here have 100' of vert just going down the offload ramp.
  16. Jeez I'm spoiled living in Colorado.
  17. No offense to bigdogdave, but the patroler who hauled me down the mountain was way cuter. I think she caught me checking out her "form" a couple times.
  18. For those of us, who for whatever reason prefer Cateks, that's good to hear.
  19. Several years back I got an L1 wedge compression fracture. It was stable. I got back to work in two weeks. After a year or so I didn't even notice it at all. Heal well!
  20. Well, it was pretty amazing cord all the way to the bottom. I didn't take any any pain meds until I was discharged after the surgery in anticipation of the surely bumpy ride of Kress driving me back to Boulder.
  21. OK. Here's a pic of the patroller who brought me down. She said the next patroller in line was a fat, hairy and stinky guy.
  22. How's this for x-rays? Mark was too busy wagging his tongue to take many pics of the staff.
  23. IMHO, I have always thought requiring posters to post under their real names would make the forum trend towards more civility... at least a little by making posters more widely known and responsible throughout the community for their posts. Plus, I don't have the mental capacity to always be putting two names to one face.
