  1. has first dibs on the sims. Shred did you want a set of the bindings to go with? The burtons are probably better for a smaller foot but you will need to find a set of four hole discs. the wild ducks are fairly long but have a lot of adjustability size wise. shouldn't be to much trouble to round up a burton foour hole disc set. $25 for either pair $40 for both. no extra shipping with the board.
  2. I haven't heard from the other buyer so your next in line if you still want it.
  3. old binding pics anybody else interested chime in
  4. I've got a set of burton reactor shells in a 29 they are about 80 on a scale of 100 great boots just a little tight for me. They are just gathering dust I'd let em go for $50 plus shipping. I think I have the original liners as well I will have to look. I rode them with aftermarket liners.
  5. past a certain point it gets easier. try whatever angles keep you at zero overhang. the lateral stiffness of the boots becomes the power after 75 degrees or so and its much easier than the 65/70 stuff
  6. Odds are you had a replacement/ temp driver that day. My route was always pissed after I got off vacation. Here at my office I had a temp driver scratch off the right address and readdress it with my old address and then finding that undeliverable sent it 20 miles away to my dad's office the next day. I got my stuff a week late. bear in mind this is a really small town and there is a huge sign on the highway with my building name and address. temps are stupid:smashfrea:smashfrea My regular driver has never screwed up. you should definitely get the local number of your Ups station. same goes for fedex. The blonde in buloxi or wherever customer service is doesn't give two ****s about you and your problem. the local office wants your business. the number is unlisted so you will have to ask your driver for it or drive down and figure it out.
  7. thats the plan I just haven't gotten serious about looking up the procedure to get it accomplished. I figured if they sold in the meantime no worries. I really only intend to sell them if it helps sell the AF700's. I plan on doing the softening surgery on the heads as well.
  8. I have a set of wild ducks and a set of the original burtons the very first ones that were for inserts. Not the five holes but the first ones with center discs. I will try and get you a picture. The board is probably just right.
  9. the dupraz with the custom old school sims topsheet he has on ebay right now is bad ass:biggthump
  10. they are af700 with race kit upgrade and rear spoilers I have several different springs that would go with them as well as the original tongues and some extra heels. the original system that the bts replaced would also be included. they are listed on my for sale thread pics there as well http://www.bomberonline.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=22260
  11. sure do wanna buy the boots too?
  12. Garage Snowboards by john mcginnis kalispell montana. very much a selective few get to ride these boards as he is not making very many right now. reasonably priced as well 400-500$
  13. strictly speaking the science behind your experiment is a little flawed unless you know total numbers riding each way. I would guess that more people ride in ride mode so that would skew the results toward that direction unless you account for it. there are enough math whizzes on the site one of them will pop up and help us with the appropriate math no doubt:lurk:
  14. I am sure someone here will jump at this opportunity it sounds like a real experience:biggthump
  15.:lol:age old disturbance in the force regarding the official status of a 4807 as a swallowtail. general consensus is somewhere in between a standard and a swallowtail. fishtail seems apt but then the burton fish isn't so confusion reigns supreme. Its usually good for a few pages of heated discussion:biggthump

My original set has drake podium carbon highbacks and straps. they are great. I just picked up a second set with the stock straps and highbacks. The straps look alright but the highbacks are cheap junk. I guess a mission would be a good choice. I am looking for tall and tough, stiff would be good to.
  17. oops somebody kicked the cage:lol:

anybody know where I can find good highbacks? The ones that come on the FR2 are junk. I would rather not buy a whole set of bindings to just get the highbacks. Maybe a good older model that is available cheap would be ok. I looked for drake parts etc online and couldn't find any sources for just parts.
  19. on an alpine you would want the quick turn initiation of a short sidecut and the ability to get out of the turn of a longer sidecut so that would make it an antiprogressive quaternary. ( I borrowed those words I have no idea what they mean) At any rate that would be an identity or a garage.
  20. I ride vans ntype switch on mine. great surfy feel:biggthump
  21. Not sure! I am currently trying to establish value. Its one of those classics that should be on the wall for what it is but its to damn much fun to ride to keep it there:1luvu:
