  1. its a mcginnis man. better you than one of the hairy unwashed that don't know what it is:eplus2:
  2. I can try another pic. I say its superficial only because its from many years ago and has been ridden a significant amount since then by a normal size guy and one season by me. I am significantly larger than normal size and I had no problems with it. The repairs are not pretty but they are quite functional. epoxy was injected in and the topsheet is not smooth. it is slightly raised due to the extra epoxy. Both the chip in the tail and the crotch crack are this way. the topsheet is probably 1mm higher over the repaired areas. there is visible epoxy at the edges of each repair.
  3. The sidecut is 9.15 - 11.64 its not a progressive its an accelerated reverse caternary. ask the math people what that means. I just know that its the smoothest riding geometry I have ridden. Thats why I have as many identities and garages as I do. John made something special when he made these. now if we could just get him to make more:biggthump
  4. Sims has shipped bump on the rest of it:biggthump
  5. These topsheet blems have been repaired and sealed.
  6. Super classic board that still rides like a dream. I have to sell because I just picked up a voile splitboard in a 195 and momma is mad at me:eek: I will let it go for $400 shipped to the US or Canada I am guessing at the value here so feel free to chime in if you know what these are worth. there are the normal lift line scratches etc. there are two items worth mentioning. there is a chip in the left tail topsheet at the end that was repaired. It looks a little rough but it is well sealed. there is also a crack in the topsheet at the crotch that has also been repaired. these are older repairs that have been there for a long time. I rode it last season and had no problems or concerns. This is a rare beauty and may find a home with a collector or rider.
  7. LOL probably mistook you for a californian:eplus2: we are an interesting blend of supergreenie hippie wannabe's and hardcore log the planet manly men. neither of them like the corporate look.
  8. rick rides crazy angles somewhere in the 70/85 range with the back foot almost parallel to the board:freak3: works good for him tho:biggthump
  9. There are at least 8 of us. johnasmo daveredman wescarven myself and skwalguy are the only ones on the bomberboard I think. then there's rick, mario, rob bernie, john mcginnis, and one or two others. We have had good turnout for BMES the last two years. The OHIO boys are a perrenial favorite at least for the local bar industry:eplus2: just bring a pow board since we have had an overabundance of pow and little hard groom the last two years.
  10. that would be the old man Rick:biggthump He's not computer savvy but he's on the mountain daily. crazy pigeon toed angles are his trademark.
  11. noaa says 4-7 inches today and tonite
  12. ITs been snowing hard on the valley floor all day today. We had a bit of a late start last year as well. january dates should be good.
  13. ditto my experience is that they carve better with set back stance. you'll load the nose to much otherwise.
  14. Madd makes killer Bx boards. I also liked the F2 speedcross although I think they are calling it something else these days. There are some NOS speedcross out there sized appropriately for you. just do a google for F2 speedcross. very fast and very alive board. I should have never sold mine. I now have a madd Bx and it is also fantastic. I can't say enough about the PTC tune that came on it as well.
  15. I just bought a pair of malamutes of the feebay and was amazed at the comfort level and stiffness. The lacing system rocks.

  17. I have an identity 162 slalom that is 10 years old. I bought new never ridden last year and rode it twice. Its a screaming ride very smooth transitions I just don't ride it because of my size. I rode it 2 partial days and had a blast zipping around on it. My prefered boards are bigger versions of this one. I have a freecarve identity and a GS. The design was well before its time and is still found today in Garage snowboards.
  18. listing updated prices lowered taking offers.
  19. oooooh dibs on the two garages. let me know if they ever need a new home
  20. still got the speedcross?
  21. The af700 are 29.5 not 30 I read the very informative boot sizing thread and realized the screw up:biggthump
  22. I will be off the net until monday I am off to the woods for some peace and quiet only briefly disturbed by gunfire:eplus2:
