Keyser Soze
Haha, yeah! She's riding pretty well considering it's only her second season, we're just starting on the concept of carving. She seems open to getting on plates, so if she's carving well enough, I might take you up on that in a couple of years.
slabber
Should be warming up tomorrow - folks planning to be out?
unitednihilists
Should be warming up tomorrow - folks planning to be out? Couldn't make it tonight, going to Tremblant tomorrow, so I needed to pack, I'll be out next Tuesday though!
Hilux
Edelweiss, tomorrow morning. Should be great conditions
Hilux
Wednesday night Edelweiss. Might try and get there late afternoon.
Tabatha
Planning on heading to Cascade on Tuesday, but I will keep Wednesday open as an option. Could even head there early afternoon (so keep me in the loop).
Keyser Soze
How do they clear the road leading to Cascades? Some cars I see struggle to inch up the hill when the road has nothing on it. I've called off a couple of nights this season due to heavy snow.
Ian M
^ That's weird... I haven't seen issues. Maybe that's just folks with poor tires. Those hills are steep, but they've always been well cleared and sanded when I've been in.
unitednihilists
I should be there by 7pm tonight, if anyone else is going.
loopback
I'm out for tonight at Cascades. Sunday morning was awesome at Edelweiss, I am going to try Wednesday night there again this week instead. FYI for all...it is Quebec March break this week but not Ontario. I have no clue how this will impact crowds at Cascades or Edelweiss though.
slabber
Won't be out tonight, cycling team meeting unfortunately. Conditions should be good. I won't make it next week either as wife will be out of town so I'll be homebound with daughter :-)

Tabatha
Going to have to pass tonight as well. Playing hookie on Friday means I actually have to work today (CRAZY! I can't believe I just used the "w" word)
Hilux
I'm out for Wednesday Edelweiss...something came up, argh. Possibly Thursday night if all goes well.

My son was at Fortune last night and said crowds were smaller than normal..... The Tremblant webcam has a good sized lineup at 7:50am and those are just the people who have "1st tracks". I am going to keep an eye on it today/tomorrow before deciding on Friday

I am going to keep an eye on it today/tomorrow before deciding on Friday I wouldn't expect night crowds to be crazy during March Break, much like Reading Week, most of the riding is probably done during the day. Tremblant, yikes. I'm not a fan of the crowds there, and I've been a few times over the last few years on Wednesdays in the middle of March, don't know what Friday's going to be like. Keyser Soze
Rode Ste-Marie today. Not a ton of fun, really icy.
Ian M
Rode Ste-Marie today. Not a ton of fun, really icy. Yup. It's always bittersweet when the warm temps and sun come.... makes for not-great conditions. The only thing you can do is try to go once it softens mid-day, and enjoy the rays :D
lowrider
Bad conditions means it's plate weather. Set-em up and ride on !

unitednihilists
Hey folks, Minor emergency, first run on a four day boarding trip to Ste Anne/ Massif, I broke a toe bale on my TD3's. Anyone know where I can get a replacement in Quebec city? The threading broke inside the mounting casing so I will possibly need one of those as well. I figure this is a long shot, and I'm going to have to spend the next four days in the park on skis with my son, but if anyone has any ideas, I'd be glad to hear them. Shitty twitter picture included. @doomsdayskis Edited March 16, 2015 by unitednihilists

The only thing you can do is try to go once it softens mid-day, and enjoy the rays :D Anyone up for Cascades tomorrow night? Probably my last chance to get out this season. Hoping it's warm enough and to have softened up any icy patches that may have developed - possible precip tomorrow too so hoping it's decent out. Keep those parts too as Fin might be interested in seeing the damage for R&D. EDIT: duh, just checked Quebec section and noticed you already did. Hope you find something!
