Crashtopher
I have a new set of TD2's and I was wondering if there's any tricks you guys can tell me about their set-up (where to lube with Bomber Butter, etc). I'll be at Killington on saturday trying them out. Any recommendations for good carving runs at the "Big K"? Thanks.
peter_x
I'm sure there are several places to lube, the only one I am sure of is the toe lever. I used a toothbrush to push the butter inside the hole the bail passes through. Otherwise, there was too much friction/squeaking when trying to rotate the toe lever if it was pushed to one side. Works fine now. edit: I suppose another place is the lugs, where the bails connect to the blocks.
tex1230
carving runs @ Killington: Header (undes Ramshead Express) Bunny Buster to Mousetrap to Chute (Snowdon) -watch out for the spores on the cat tracks crossing the trails...they are really slow and they will ski directly across your intended path at any given time) Superstar (Superstar Express) assuming it's groomed... Not the greatest carving mountain but it will test your human slalom skills!
Mike T
Here's what I lube: -the intec heel receiver, and pins on my boots -the lugs on the toe bail -the undersides of the heads on the top plate <-> base plate screws
