Neil Gendzwill
I usually don't have this problem but the last couple times I've been out I kept having trouble with snow building up on the sole of my boot. Must have been some combination of temp and humidity making the snow extra-gluey. Does anybody have any tips? Anything you've applied to the sole to prevent build-up? Hate having to balance on one foot and chip snow off before stepping in.
nekdut
Yeah that happens to me too. Try some silicone lubricant spray on your heels and on your bindings.
johnstewart
Ya, I often get that at certain temperatures and snow conditions. I always keep a can of altoids in my jacket, and this makes and excellent scraper for that packed on ice/snow.
John H
"Pam" cooking spray. It works like silicone spray but is biodegradeable.

LeeW
I just scrap it off my td2 pointy area where the bolt goes thru or tap it on it to get it off. this kind of snow clog -on- the bindings is when it really sucks to deal with. maybe i should try Pam spray. skategoat
Old plastic card with a hole punched in it. Attach to your jacket with one of those retractable key ring thingees. Works like a charm.
