Guest timrides
Looking into buying some TD2s! How "sprung" is the rear bail? The TD1s I have seen with the spring loaded bail still seem to be rather "floppy". Is the TD2 better? Do TD2 owners still find themselves reaching down to get the heel in place? Thanks Tim
bobdea
is a bit better than the TD1
Hans
No hassle with it, works fine. I got some stronger springs from SITO, now they are superb. Greets, Hans.
pokkis
Unfortunately standard springs of TD2 are still too sloppy :(
Jack M
No problems here, I never reach down for the heel bail.
gdboytyler
The springs are still a little floppy. The heel bail can get stuck in the down position on a powder day. I also had to replace the heel bail spring after 20 days of riding. I don't need to reach down to get the heel in place, but I may need several attempts to get the heel position properly. I find it much easier to get into the Proflex/F2 bindings. I prefer a mechanical stop on the heel bail over a spring-loaded heel bail. Bricky It's just a guy who I know through the forum of www.extremecarving.com. I will probably meet him at the ECS within three weeks. I can ask him about the possibilities. Greets, Hans.
