TD2 Question

Looking into buying some TD2s!

How "sprung" is the rear bail?

The TD1s I have seen with the spring loaded bail still seem to be rather "floppy".

Is the TD2 better?

Do TD2 owners still find themselves reaching down to get the heel in place?

The springs are still a little floppy. The heel bail can get stuck in the down position on a powder day. I also had to replace the heel bail spring after 20 days of riding.

I don't need to reach down to get the heel in place, but I may need several attempts to get the heel position properly. I find it much easier to get into the Proflex/F2 bindings.

I prefer a mechanical stop on the heel bail over a spring-loaded heel bail.
