garyj
Looking to replace my 183 RTrs. Would also like to find RT(sl) race stock, if there is such a thing. Has anyone ever seen?

garyj
So it was you that took that ebay auction and then sold to Brian? Keep an eye out for me for one of those bad boys.
MR. JOHN DEERE !
yeah i friend of mine has one. its a 183, very stiff. let me know, i can call him for you.
RJ-PS
Actually it was more of a trading between friends kind of thing. It's back with Bryan because he is an honest good guy and we work together on stuff, but I'd take it back in an instant. It's a great board! Good luck in your quest. Thor VonRippington
I have a Volkl Renn Tiger 178 GS for sale...
Guest Alan
All of the 183 volkl's are the same. They made 3 pre-production boards with a slightly differant flex pattern,,,but no true race stock. The pre-production decks were made for a pro, who actually turned volkl down. I know this because it was given to my son, when the pro declined. They changed topsheets whick leads folks to believe they are stiffer,,,,,,but that is a myth. This comes from the guy responsible for importing them into the US. He now works at Burton. Alan
garyj
Alan thanks for the insight. I wasn't sure what changed between the years, if anything. As it turns out, it looks like I have secured two 184 WCR round tails one used and one never riden, so the hardware budget is a little taxed right now. Nevertheless, I have enjoyed my 184 RT so much, I most likely could find the room for the replacement. That being said, if anyone hears of, or has a 184 RT they want to sell, please let me know or give me first right of refusal. :) Thanks. D-Sub
heh. gotta check the schedule. watching MMA battles rates quite highly up there dunno how you'd go about getting a PPV in a condo...? oh duh...its your condo, not a nightly rental...different story.
