Phil
It will be interesting to see where this thread goes. Right now, the "I don't care" column has it. I posted this same deal with the NBA finals and the same result. I wonder if most hardbooters are not into mainstream sports?
Guest
There's a reason they call baseball the greatest game ever invented: because it's a game, not a sport. Sure, I realize hitting a fastball may be one of the hardest things to do, but can we say boooooring. Half the time you stand around waiting for the ball to be hit, then only a few guys get to even touch the ball per play. One of the biggest wastes of time ever, IMO. Phil
One of the biggest wastes of time ever, IMO. I never watch any baseball until either the playoffs or the World Series. That is because I think that it is boring to watch. I do, however, find it fun to play. Of course, I am more like a dog than a man. If you throw a ball, I run after it. Guest Tim Tuthill
I think the people that are into action sports don't like to watch. They would rather be boarding, skiing, surfing, etc!!!

Mike T
I think the people that are into action sports don't like to watch. They would rather be boarding, skiing, surfing, etc!!! Baseball playoffs makes an excellent distraction this time of year, when it's not good hiking/biking/paddling weather but the llifts aren't running either :D Go 'Stros, if only because NL series wins and good Oregon seasons correlate lately... skategoat
Russian defenceman Viacheslav Fetisov took in his first major league baseball game in Arlington, Texas, this year but didn't stay long: "Two innings. One hour. I leave." A similar story unfolded when another Russian, Alexei Zhamnov, took in a minor league ball game in Winnipeg. Midway through, Zhamnov asked incredulously: "Do they shower after this?"
Guest Tim Tuthill
As a friend of mines dad said when we were in high school " Pick your sport, get good at it and make sure you don't have to call someone on the phone to do it" This has held well all my life!
