What went wrong? I don't know, man. I just wasn't enjoying snowboarding at all like I did skiing, not that snowboarding is bad. It's just not for me. I had many futile lessons, read as many articles as possible, and tried for a few years. I even tried different styles and equipment, no dice. I actually haven't had a chance to hit BigSky yet, but I've only heard good things about it. I don't know though if it's suited very well for carving. MT has more of a tendency to fulfill the "North Western US snow" expectations, that is, really good snow if you're not focused completely on groomers.
