JRAZZ
Woha! Looks like a young curious bear... Still can maul you but the reaction looked more like play than trying to get food.
barryj
He sure was a curious little guy! Crossing paths with the local fauna is not that unusual up here in the White Mtns. of Northern NH. We see bears, moose, deer, foxes, bobcats weekly depending on the season. I've been known to chase the Black bears out of the yard with a broom and even into the woods a few times to get my bird feeders back! BlueB
Most of our suburban bears didn't sleep this winter. We also have a severe cougar invasion (no, not those ones!). The fourth attack on a dog, within few weeks, culminated in the attack on the owner.
bumpyride
What surprised me was the distance the bear covered and he/she didn't seem fatigued at all.
