Do those receivers work with the Fintec metal adapters?

Fintec heels have two, small fixed steel pins that help guide the heel into the heel receiver.  Those pins will quickly wear a gouge into these aluminum Catek receivers.  So they are "compatible" but the receivers won't last long.  The good news is that you can widen out the mounting slots on TD3 heel receivers (with a Dremel/grinder/drill press/etc.) to use them with Cateks.  Also, whether Intec or Fintec heels, the movable locking pins also will cause wear on the aluminum receivers.  It's not a "problem", TD1 bindings used aluminum too, but the receivers just won't last as long as steel.  None of the photos above show the heel receiver clearly enough to judge how much wear there is, but here's an example of one of mine that I stopped using because I felt the wear had gone far enough to compromise the full engagement of the pin.
