This may not necessarily be infallible but it would make sense that this setup would create the least amount of stress to parts;  shorter bolt and a higher number of threads used.  Extreme carvers out there might be able to share their experience as they would ride this setup as well.

Not really a viable solution for most of us though.

Yeah the metal they make the factory t-nuts out of is crap.
