ar(angel
I know most of the UPZ boots come with the DIN heels, but will intecs fit on these? Thanks, Paul
Gradyh
Yes They are Intec compatible. I had actually bought the Intec heels to go with the boots, but ended up selling the heels to a friend.
ar(angel
one last question, why're you selling them? I've always been interested in the UPZ's, but haven't met anyone who's used them. Trikerdad apparently has some and I trust his judgement. I'm considering selling my AF700's..... Thanks, Paul
big canuck
wide or narrow? fit a size 12? I have size 29 Head stratus pros that fit well. Anyone who's tried both care to comment on fit and quality? They look sweet! Let me know. Thx. KC
Gradyh
Paul, I had a deposit down, and was on a waiting list for a season and a 1/2 to get these boots. Since then, I changed my whole style of riding, from race style (narrow stiff boards, stiff boots, and high angles) to Extreme Carving style (Swoard, flexible Northwave boots, riding flat with low angles). I really wanted to get some Northwave race boots but they don't make them anymore. So I was hoping the UPZ's would work similar to the Northwave's. I waited so long for them that when my name came up on the list, I bought them hoping they might work for EC style. Unfourtunately they are too stiff for EC style. As luck would have it, I had found a guy in the Swiss Alps that was selling his Northwave boots right after I bought the UPZ's, so now I have the boots I really want which work unbelievable for EC. Because I sold my race board, and I finally found my Northwave's, I'm selling the UPZ's. The UPZ's are great boots. They have the smallest sole for less hang over, 5 buckles so your heel stays down, tons of adjustment, and are the lightest boot I've ever been in. They are just meant to be ridden differently than my new style.
Gradyh
KC UPZ's tend to be on the wider side, but I doubt they will fit a US12. They are mondo 28-28.5, which I think is 10-11 US.

Gradyh
Carvedog, I still have the boots. Make me an offer?
carvedog
I could only pay about $250. They look like great boots and they are my size. I have never used this type of boot. I would need to sell my Fire's first. New baby so no extra money in the snowboard kitty. Thanks, Jerry
carvedog
And actual shipping charges if you pack them for me. Jerry
