Killington 3.31 advice requested

Hi all. I have been inactive for quite a while.  I am managed a ski trip out to steamboat 2 weeks ago for my kids and rented a board and had a lot of fun leaving trenches.  The bug is back.

I live in Germantown md, and after giving up on getting back out to Colorado I am setting my sights on killington VT this weekend. As far as I can tell they still have plenty of snow.  Can someone please verify that I am not crazy to spend 9 hrs driving up there on Friday to ride for two days?  Assuming the answer is yes, what lifts/runs should I be looking at to retrain my ancient and decayed carving muscles?  I LOVED tomahawk, sunshine and flintlock at SB.  So I am a low level intermediate carver.  I want fun wide easy slopes to relearn my carve.

Thanks for any advice.

Yes, K-mart has Snow, but grooming maybe a bit iffy-ish, but complete enough to get around. Stay where you can traverse to (it's a Killington speciality) within your group, but expect good conditions everywhere except Glades, and the random mud-hole at trail's edge. Overall, it looks pretty good there. But, Okemo is still in better shape, overall.

Hey RS

Check the forecast ...........could be a tough weekend for carving - another big storm is heading towards VT and NH for Fri/Sat!!!

I see 9 inches at Killington by Friday night...................and it looks like it sweeping across between  Mt. Snow at 13 inches at 13 inches Friday night and Killlington,

.....and personally,  I would go anywhere But Killington.............south of Killington is Okemo, Magic, Bromley, Stratton, Mt. Snow.....not sure if their all still open but they all are better options than Killington and  their all are supposed to get over 10 inches by Friday night!

Hope ya got a Powder Board!
