www.oldsnowboards.com
Cool. Not practical but probably would make a better alpine snowboard? I wonder what the total cost was to make that "one off" board?
Gcarve
Entertaining video. Quite a lot of work, for only a few hours of riding, before the board self destructed.
Mike T
Ah, the lengths that some folks will go to, to avoid admitting that "it didn't work". Forget about the use of glass (not fiberglass) as a deck... could one pick a less hydrophobic base material, and I know glass can be sharp, but I can't imagine using a glass edge on ice... Unicorn Poop
I like the part where he almost hits two skiiers and says it's the most amazing sidecut he's ever ridden.
lowrider
The older i get the more i reflect just because you can doesn't mean you should. Is that green technology because it can be recycled ?
Steve Prokopiw
Of course it means you should...it's fun.I thought that was great.I watched several of Signal Snowboards' 'Every 3rd Thursday' feature that episode was part of, and especially liked the solar powered top sheet board that they were all charging their phones and gopros with.
