WinterGold Posted January 14, 2012 Report Share Posted January 14, 2012 I had the chance to visit the World Cup at the Jauerling in Austria. It was an amazing event! There were about 4000 fans. They made a lot of noise :D ... One of the trainers said that this was the best event on the whole circuit! A real party! After the race we had the chance to talk to some of the riders. Sigi told us a bit about his plate - there is still a lot going on ... As pictures say more than 1000 words, here are some ... Photo 1 - the crowd! Willow 15 Posted January 14, 2012 Report Share Posted January 14, 2012 I was lucky enough to watch it live on Eurosport. It was a fantastic race, some of the runs being won by 1 hundredth of a second. The red gates were clearly quicker than the blue. I wish I had been there as it was clear that atmosphere was electric, especially when Prommegger won. Check out the fis snowboard site as they get race final vids up there. If you like to party get yourself to Austria, I worked a winter in Mayerhofen and they have some crazy ftup sh&t drinking games. One of the most craziest stag do's I have ever seen was near Kaprun where the stag was encased in a barrel (filled with alcohol) and dragged around on a go-cart getting more drinks poured in/around him.
