Chris
I'm selling these with two three degree disks and purple bumpers. Throwing in a six degree disk and purple bumpers so you can mess around with the setup. Moderate use, but everything is in good shape. $120 shipped anywhere in N.A. AussieCarver
Hey Chris, if I miss out on the other set of TD1s for sale on this forum, I'll grab these. OK? I'm in Australia, but have a US site to send to and can transfer $ to your account. Easy. Cheers, Pete.
Chris
You are welcome to them. I'm up in Canada--don't know if that would complicate the transaction for you or not. Paypal is simplest for me. Also I don't know if you are aware that the step-ins require that your boots have Intec heels so you can "click-in" I think a set of those will set you back $129US here at Bomber if you don't have them on your boots already. best, Chris
J0hn
The fintec heels are not compatible with the aluminum heel receivers on the TD1. You'll need to get intec heels somewhere else. I've heard blue tomato in Europe carries them, but never needed to order from them, so I don't know.
Chris
Whoops, thanks John. You can get TD1 compatible heels here: www.yyzcanuck.com/store/INTEC-Heel-Kit.html
AussieCarver
Thanks Chris, yep I have Intecs on my boots. Reason I was after those other TD1s with rear bail was for an older pair of Raichles with the Vibram sole so I could have an emergency setup. In the meantime, put me first in line for those SI's of yours. BTW, does anyone know if I can source a rear bail that I can swap into these TD1 step ins in an emergency? Cheers, Pete. lowrider
AussieCarver you would have to change front and rear as SI's have different front bail as well.
AussieCarver
Interesting. I may post a Wanted to Buy - front and rear bails for TD1 after I get these. Just would like the flexibility of having them in case I want to set up my older boots for either myself or a mate. Cheers guys.
Chris
Aussie, are you passing on the bindings?
AussieCarver
Hi Chris, I'm just waiting on the outcome of the sale of the other TD1s (non step-in), so I'm kind of in limbo waiting to hear. I thought I would know by now, but I haven't. I've been checking regularly. Sounds like he had a buyer, so I'm definitely leaning towards yours. He said he'd let me know for sure. I'll drop a note on his For Sale listing to move things along. However... I don't want to stuff you around, so if you've got a firm buyer for yours, please go with them first. But if you can wait a little, I should find out soon! Cheers, Pete.
AussieCarver
Damn... I just realised I've got Fintec heels. Definitely no good for these bindings? Please advise guys.
dezlang
Hi Chris, I'll take them if still available. Thanks, Brian
www.oldsnowboards.com
Damn... I just realised I've got Fintec heels.Definitely no good for these bindings? Please advise guys. Not recommended due to the wear they are likely to cause. http://www.bomberonline.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=23413 So Bomber is NOT recommending using a binding with aluminum receivers with our Fin-Tec Heels. AussieCarver
Hey Chris, Sorry to stuff you around. I genuinely didn't know they didn't suit my boots. Glad you found a buyer mate, Pete.
