Ear dragger
Due to recently racing again, I'm about to start riding on a vist plate. Who likes to ride with the front or back locked, and why.
lowrider
Quit being lazy turn some screws and figure it out for your style of riding. Like new plates everyone has their preference. Dependant on millions of variables.
Ear dragger
easy... i plan on adjusting it. I wanted to see what people think about the differences. I have yet to step on one, and really only want to use it for racing.
Mtrappy
lock it in the rear...
Jack M
Locking the rear and floating the front makes it work sort of on the same principle as the latest Karl-style plates. But I think a Donek plate would work better if money is the issue.
colintkemp
Agreed: Lock the back, float the front and middle. That's how you get the Vist's slide/isolation effect. I've never locked both ends, but would think it becomes more like a Hangl in providing greater leverage but not much else. Other might speak to this, though. Jack's got a good point about going Donek at the price point. Good luck in the gates.
nekdut
I actually liked a locked middle best, but that isn't an option unless your board has Vist-specific inserts. Back works great otherwise. :)
