davekempmeister
Hi All. What is the narrowest board onto which one can mount a VIST w/o modifying or cutting? Thanks.
BlueB
I didn't use it much, but I experienced something bizzare with a 19.5 wide Prior. It worked just fine while the snow was firm enough. Later in the day, when it changed to a compact(!?) kind of slush and board started cutting in deep, the black rails had enough surface to "plane" and kinda lift the edge from the groove, at high inclinations. Only had that on heel side, EC type of turn.
nekdut
I've used on an 18.5 cm that flares out a fair bit (SL) and it comes flush to the edge. When riding, high edge angles caused problems. I think 19cm would be the narrowest you can go without running into any issues. I'm thinking of taking a saw or grinder to mine to see if I can make it work on 18 or 18.5cm boards properly.

CarvingScooby
Hi All. What is the narrowest board onto which one can mount a VIST w/o modifying or cutting? Thanks. In the pix is a 19.5 cm deck, not much gap. No shaving required but I had same "Planing" experience on heel side turn on soft surface. I wud say 20 cm wud be ideal RT
