snowboardfast
No those boards had a 5 hole insert pattern that will only work with Burton variplates and good luck finding those?

Beckmann AG
"Is there any way to mount Old TD'1s to a beutifully retro M6 I saw on ebay?" Yes, in fact there is. Or will be. Adapters are on my 'to do' list, as I would like to take another ride on one of my PJ's, and I am saving my remaining stash of Variplates To fund my eventual retirement. And in the words of J.R. Hadden, "Why build just one, when for the same price, you can have two?" You could always install the UPM pattern with approved repair inserts, and reap the ridicule... Now that would be a site. An old M6 with a modern plate on it.
J0hn
Actually it depends on just how retro you mean. I have an M6 with the more standard Burton 3 hole pattern. That would work with a TD1 as long as it had the 3 and 4 hole cant disks.
jacopodotti
It depends from the year of the board. http://derf.dyndns.org/~derf/gallery/snowboard_Burton_1993/M_Series?full=1 As you could see the 1993 board has the 3D inserts
heroshmero
If anybody is interested, I've got a M6 Goofy with 3D inserts. It has little wear on it. PM and we can work something out.
b0ardski
Hero, if that was an 7.0 asym alp I'd be all over it.
