Off to europe, but where?

Kind of an off-shoot from the thread in December about the best carving places in the US...

do any of you have a great place to recommend in the Alps?

So far I'm lucky to say Ive been to the Italian Alps (Livigino, Dolomites) and Switzerland (St. Moritz) and I really recommend Val Gardena in the Dolomites, the size is of the entire resort (like 400 miles of runs) is incredible, the runs are well groomed, and even with the crowds its easy to find a great blue run all to yourself.

Any other favorites out there? Criteria is the same, wide empty runs, good infrastructure, prices, carving heaven...

France, Austria? Besides Zinal of course ;)

Ahh...a......a...h............a..h...........................

Good Lord. What time was this at? Why is there nobody there? Are there many runs like this? How much is a plane ticket to Norway?

That is from our annual carving camp, first week of March.

There is another boarder as you can see on top right corner :ices_ange

Not similar but good carving ones, plus more steeper one.

This is picture of same slope but from different angle

And here nice panorama of part of area to understand why pow-board is good to take there too:

That's awesome. How much is a lift ticket there?

You did notice the surface lift right? Aka the T bar.

I don't really have a problem with that, I've had to ride them a few times before. As per pokkis' note in another thread, it discourages riders from getting on that hill, thus leaving it open for those who REALLY want to ride it... ME. Hhahahahahahha.

PS: pokkis, I'm checking out the trailers to your vids... you guys are dope.

Depends are you looking for carving or atmosphere and afterboard activities. If first one is your target, then Oppdal Norway is good option:

WoWowowo...

sure the alps are more majestic in scenery and i could never complain about the italian atmosphere (bombardinos anyone?), but did make me drool a bit on the keyboard.
