heatzig
I have td2 with bails and Deeluxe boots and I want to switch over to intec. I need front bails, heel receivers (steel or al) and intec heels (fintec or older intecs). Thanks ! If I can't find someone to sell me the parts or trade, then I'll "rent" the conversion gear from you as i only need it 1 week in late Feb... tex1230
1- NOBODY is going to sell you used fintecs - they just came out last month 2 - if you really need it - you can buy all this in the store.
SEJ
You can find used heels here because a lot of people are buying Fin's new state of the art heel, but I doubt anybody is selling there step in binding stuff to covert to manuals. Might be able to buy just one conversion kit from Bomber, the rear is really the only one you need. I don't know about the TD2s because all mine are step in, but with my OS1s the step in was a stiffer connection than the manual bail. Manual front and step in rear meant softer front and stiffer rear. I rode that way for two years, didn't seem to be an issue, but standing in the board on the carpet you can feel a difference. heatzig
thanks for the input. I guess it would make sense to just buy 1 new setup for the rear! Anyone have any negative opinions about doing it that way ? Thanks.
shane groshong
Hey if you just do the rear foot you will find that you have far less movement when going to intecs. My point is that each foot will have a different feel on the board. Something to think about.
Flyin Hawaiian
Yea I wonder the ratio of people who do one or two step-ins. I am goofy foot and my brother is regular foot so it sets up well for each of us to have the back foot and split the cost of step-ins. I would imagine the feel is a little differnet. But you'd get use to it.
heatzig
Anyone want to split the cost of 2 new FinTec heels ? Bomber sells the binding parts in singles but the heels in pairs, so i want to split a pair of heels....
skipatroll
Careful...don't use Fintec heels with TD2's unlesws you replace the aluminum receiver with a steel receiver.
