tpalka
A montage of various follow-cam movies -- all from the past 2-3 weeks. You can watch it in higher quality, or below. tom. <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9M1QUqa5NZs&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9M1QUqa5NZs&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
Strider
Great footage. I like the switch carves. What was the pitch like where you were doing the laid out carves? I find I can only hold an edge doing that if its pretty steep. Looks like Copper?
tpalka
Glad you liked it! The footage was mostly from Aspen -- only the shaky footage of the guy in black was from Copper and Monarch. The guy doing the laid out carves (green jacket) is Joerg from Pureboarding... and those were all at Buttermilk, mostly on Tiehack and Ptarmigan runs I believe. bumpyride
My kudo's to Joerg. Those are the most natural, least contrived layouts I've ever seen.
Coloradoking
i know the title of that song but i can't think of it.... could someone help me out?
carvedog
Nice work as always Tom. Was Lisa in there a couple of times or was that someone else in the black and white outfit?
tpalka
Thanks, Jerry. Lisa was in the green puffy jacket, in just one section. In the black & white was Marina, from Switzerland -- these movies don't show how smooth she rides... tom.
tenorman
great video! the old school eurocarving guy in the green jacket even had a PETER BAUER hair style. if he were regular footed, then he could have been a dead ringer. i know the title of that song but i can't think of it.... could someone help me out? Coloradoking, i don't know the specific title of that song in that specific format but the guitar riff that was sampled was taken from an old JAMES BROWN song called SOUL POWER. i think it charted back in 1971 or 1972. hope that is enough info for you eventually identify the song. KingCrimson
I know Public Enemy sampled it in 2 or 3 songs, might want to check that out.

KingCrimson
Colorado, he just made it really big because some of us read for completion, not for comprehension. If he hadn't made it big, chances are I wouldn't have read that, and suggested that you check out Public Enemy. Plus- relax a little, Tenorman is a great guy, I'd love to meet him some day Plus, glance at this, it's how he types all his posts http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/search.php?searchid=744598 Tenorman- I played Tenor sax for a while before picking up bassoon, it really was my gateway "drug" to getting into bassoon..Unfortunately, I am now in rehab for bassoon addiction; I'm not playing next year :(
