John Bell
www.kayak.com The best, in my opinion, of all the fare-finder sites. (Its search includes Orbitz and others--all except SWA). It also has a hotel-search function. Pretty good. Sometimes you can get a better rate if you have a triple-A membership, but you'd have to call the hotel to ask. Have fun! Ernie00
I like to use Priceline.com name your own price... I've had pretty good success with it so I think it's good. You need to be flexible you are not sure which hotel you will be getting you can pick the number of stars and the specific area in a city but won't know the Hotel before you paid for it and it's accepted. Same thing for plane ticket.. you'll know when you leave and when you come back the days but won't know the specific hours until you pay for it. andreac
i like hotwire.com it's better if you book closer to the travel dates with them but i always find a good price there!
Allee
lastminute.com is great if you want to score a flight and hotel together for cheap. Flights are often circuitous but can't beat the $$. Living in Calgary, but it's always good to know that I could spend the weekend in Cleveland for $318...
