Neil Gendzwill
Both fun and incomprehensible to this old fart. How does Adams get such pop? He didn't even seem to be going that fast in the park and then he lofted about 6' over that hip.

I rode a soulcarve 160 with burton raceplates and the Beaver Creek crew thought I was a hardbootin freak. Then I got a Rossi Throttle 166 and some TD1s:D I was lucky enough to skate Upland Pipeline as a kid and was in awe when the Alba Bros showed up <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k72Vhx0YQHg&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k72Vhx0YQHg&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

Transition skating rules, other than carving on snow you cant get those kind of Gs any other way.
willywhit
the mini ramps are great, tech skating is impressive... I guess I'm just old...vert and big backside airs are my favorite. don't kids build big vert ramps anymore ? <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKlnaN_xjU0&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKlnaN_xjU0&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
Civ
funny enough, I dont really ride anything under 6 feet. Not a mini guy, but I have mad respect for the ability it takes. I love bigger transition and bowled corners.....SPEEEEEED!!!!!. Airs take balls for sure. I just love all types of skating. So, who has some vids of themselves skating? Kids are scared of them. We've got a little bowl in our local park, it's only 8' deep and just comes up to vert, hardly anyone rides it. When we had an indoor park, it had a little half-pipe with 8' transitions and no vert, again hardly anyone riding it, they were all working the "street" elements. I absolutely love it when that happens....SkaterIsland (RIP) had a 120' mini that saw little use because the groms were all into the street half of the park....I pretty much had the mini to my self for a month. These days the parks I skate are mixed up enough that, excluding the drop off kids, everyone skates everything
