wipe/rub on lubes?

I say that there is a fine line between enough lube and too much lube. Too much and you will lose all sensation of speed, whereas using the right amount will give you excellent feel and feedback. I prefer waxed smooth, but that's just personal preference, some people (mostly jibbers) prefer it dirty and hairy.

I'm talking about snowboarding you pervert.

I would be careful about using wipe on or spray on lubes. My understanding is most liquid type lubes will damage the base's abilty to take on wax. This is because they either contain agents that dry or clog your base. Having said this I also know many pepole have been happy with these products. A hot wax is always the prefered thing to do in my opinion. But pepole will put rainx on there board because someone else said it helped. Stick with hot wax or rub on if you must. liquids are bad news.

just use regular wax and either a cork or better yet a wax whizard

paste wax is not worth the tube it comes in

You know, I made a Kenntucky Jelly sandwich once - worst tasting thing I ever had. It was so bad I spit it out. My Madd happened to be there when I spit and it was covered in jelly. I was in a hurry to go riding so I just wiped it off with my sleeve - my board was faster than ever though. I still haven't figured out why there was jelly under the bed. Stay away from that KY brand jelly, it tastes like crap.

I'm no tuning specialist, but rubbing in a hard wax and then finishing with a cork has worked well for me as far as quicky lube jobs go.

I swear by swix F4 low flouro wipe on paste. Its perfect and fast for the NW were temps are usaully at or near freezing . It lasts a long time and will not hurt your base. Buy it in the 250ml tube and lasts year. After cleaning I hot wax using crayon method with flouro all temp and then coat this with F4 over that. Works great, give it a try if you have wetter snow.
