skatha
I "signed up" for the 7 day free trial-which necessitated giving my credit card number. I cancelled the service almost immediately(which they claimed not to have received, although I was sent a reply email). They charged my credit card for a year's worth of service that is 1. not refundable and 2. automatically renewed unless, get this, I remember to call them next year...cancelling now is not good enough. Plus, they've outsourced their customer support and I was told a manager would get back to me with my complaint, until I told him the best time to call me was after 5 pm. The "yahoo" I talked to said-"oh well, we're only open 6 am- 6pm Pacific standard time, so I guess you won't get a call back" I reminded him that Central time is 2 hours ahead of Pacific time, but, he was right....nobody's called. Be warned MP3 owners....
Steve Dold
Can't you dispute this with your credit card company? It sounds like you have good reason to.

Allee
Napster.ca runs the same thing - give us your card, cancel any time in 7 days ... I wonder if I would have had the same problem. I bailed on signing up for precisely that reason. For sure, get the credit card company to stop it. Send them the copy of your return email as proof... dr. sandman
I won a 30 day free Napster trial with a SOBE lid - I think I won't use it if it requires a credt card for activation?? Any other experiences????
