  1. I haven't ridden the Level 4, but I have ridden with Level 3 (Lashed, Broport) and Level 5 (Ultralight). The Ultralights are amazing, but very pricy (I got a great deal but was still leaning toward them anyway). I loved my Lasheds, which is why I moved from Northwave to 32. All are Intuition liners, so you can't really go too far wrong. If you're really unsure, start out with the best value (which appears to be the Level 3) and see how you like the fit. In a women's fit, the boot seem wider thru the toes than most which is perfect for me. Not sure about the men's fit. Definitely have them molded...they're ok without it, but it does make a huge differene. I've taken mine into local ski shops and used their "blower" to heat them up (abut 14 minutes will do it). Most will do it free of charge.
  2. I didn't know they every made an A72...always thought 165 was the longest. The last year of production was either '98 or '99 if I remember correctly. The A55 is my son's first and favorite alpine board (but he's going to ride his new Prior metal 183 this weekend so we shall see!). I've got a new bamboo Arbor Push 152 which I will christen this weekend (one short run last weekend doesn't count). Carol.
  3. I used Intuitions in my Northwave Legends last season and it was the most comfortable they had been. So much so that I sprung for ThirtyTwos this season. My feet are very happy. Much warmer than stock liners.
  4. I took one of my first lessons about six years ago from a hardbooter at Ragged. I was scared to death but determined to learn...it was a good lesson. Now my son is a racer and I'm trying to work up to hardboots. If you're out there, whoever you were...thanks!
  5. If you ever know anyone who wants to part with one of their A65s let me know...
  6. We're a big Arbor family too (current count is 7, inlcuding two A55 carving boards and the pyramid ale promo board). Boards similar to yours came in two versions: cap and sidewall. my personal preference is for the cap (which I own in a 150) but my son loves his sidewall board. I've seen a lot of these come up on ebay and there might be some there now. If you're looking for the sidewall version, the newer Elements are very similar. Happy hunting. Carol.
  7. Has the template been posted yet? Also, is there any appreciable difference between using lexan and a "cuttingboard?" I'll be going material shopping today or tomorrow and was just curious.
  8. Sportube makes three sizes of hard case, the middle one is designed for multiple sets of skis. It also happens to be great for alpine boards. We've used one for trips from NH to Tahoe for the past two years with no problems...including the time we watched them loading the plane and they dropped the case off the conveyer (I thought my son would go right thru the window after them!). We usually put two boards with bindings in the case and use my softboots between them for "packing." Keep in mind that airport security (TSA) will open the case and inspect it after you have checked it. You don't want to pack it so tight or have too many small things in there. Supposedly they are designed to be strapped to roof racks, but I've never tried this. Since they're made of pretty much the same material as the lower-end Thule boxes it probably works well enough. Carol.
  9. Yes, it's not a carving board... Never Summer Infinity 151 with minimal use. Comes with Drake F60 Lady bindings. Email for pics. Best offer over $200. Prefer local (New England) transaction. Great board, just not the right one for me.
  10. no ultra prime, just a 2000 167 factory prime.
  11. If you do that, Glenn, it will make it much easier to get Kevin to go :-)
  12. Any reservations required to attend, or do you just show up?
  13. I'll wait to post on for sale side until I hear back.
  14. Sorry, no boots in 23. I do have a pair of never-molded liners I could part with for $25. I do have MP 24 Raichle 220 boots, tho. Let me know if you're interested in either.
  15. No response as yet, but indeed hoping to hear back if they are medium.
  16. very interested if they are a size medium...
  17. No Ultra Prime, but we have a 2000 Factory Prime 167 with carrier bindings. Some racing dings but in good shape.
  18. sorry, but not all posts are clear and/or accurate. better to ask for clarification than flame later.
  19. That is correct...but I might know somebody with the 3/4 discs
  20. SOLD...thanks! Came with my son's "new" board. Appear to have minimal use. Zero and 3 degree disks, purple bumpers, all hardware there except for one set screw on front lever. Levers are black, if that means anything. $100 plus shipping or trade for F2 race in similar condition. Paypal or cash only. Can be picked up this weekend in Waterville or at USASA Nationals.
  21. If so, I will take them if you have a pair...is it just one disc or a pair?
