  1. We have appointments in LA area for next two days, and are bringing APX, TBX, and (2) pr. CATEK discs pending sale...As the sale may fall through, we encourage any posters in the area to contact us for an alternate in-person transaction for any of these Items, 'just in case.' We can of course negotiate a nominal fee, as LA comprises a relatively large area. Regards, 110
  2. CARP: Yes all Items including the rampage may be found on the BOL site. You can use the search feature to find most posts/pics. The Kemper is the hotpink/black board in a previous post...apologies for your inconvenience. We have also considered delivery option for the LA area. This option will absolutely mandate direct phone contact. We have a number of trips planned in the Los Angeles vicinity, so we will consider outlying areas depending upon the Items involved in the transaction. We will also consider a cash offer for the lot, including the Prior split tail, and will deliver to the LA area for a nominal fee. Thanks to all for the PMs and interest. 110
  3. Hi all...All the gear in the above post is located in Mammoth Lakes, CA and is avail on a first-come/first-served basis, as stated in the original post. We have other pressing travel obligations that mandate in-person local transactions for selling this alpine/snowboard gear that is simply not seeing use. In the past, through the BOL site, we've had moderate success selling Alpine gear, with about a 70percent follow-through after emails, packaging PayPal/mail fiascos and the like. Consequently, the eBay is simply not an option for much of the same reasons. We cannot offer any other arrangement other than cash at the point of purchase, but with our proximity to the greater LA/Reno areas, we concede there may be at least a few individuals who may be able to take advantage of their locations/schedules in order to purchase gear the next time they visit the Mammoth Lakes area. We offer our sincere apologies to all posters who are logistically unable to purchase the gear here in the Sierras. We regret any offense, but the BOL board is simply not the place to vent the issue aimlessly. We encourage participation with the purpose of the transactions, and have no interest in adversarial comment. We have never publicly chided posters who have for some reason or other failed to follow-through with written/verbal commitments to purchase in the past, as such is our discretion. We simply do not see benefit in public reprimand of that sort. Life happens and situations change...and for this reason we've felt obliged to let the occasional transaction fall-through with no necessary explanation needed. All the Items have been greatly discounted from previous BOL FS posts, and we hope we've provided attractive prices in light of the payment/pick-up caveat...All the Items in the FS post have also been accompanied with full disclosure in various other BOL posts, including applicable pics and specs. As is the nature with our niche sport, all of this gear may find its way around the BOL/other internet sites as the seasons progress...We are however certain, most of these Items are not easily obtainable, hence our inclination to post on BOL. In the case of the CATEK discs, TBX snowboard, and Prior split-tail, some Items have been either discontinued or re-designed altogether...so there may exist other novelty/performance issues by at least a few other interested posters/browsers who may plan a forthcoming ski trip in the area. We've always enjoyed the opportunity to purchase/interact on the BOL site...and as buyers we've always endeavored to provide our best experience and to each Seller's discretion of terms. We've taken personal responsibility to meet any given Seller's terms/requests and/or methods of payment in order to provide a pre-agreed solution to otherwise disposing of the Seller's gear. So in all fairness, please feel welcome to participate or contact if any of you have interest in a lot of relatively inexpensive Alpine-related gear in the near future. And please reply with a contact phone in case you may be in the area...we may not be able to reply regularly via emails, and we feel phone contact is the best personal method of contact in order to maintain clarity of any related logistics issues. Regards, 110

    Apx...

All the 'Freeriders' should try to follow a skier on one of these sometime, if you can control your short/ longturn radius with little effort at speed, and forget what brand this board isn't, you might find a new favorite board... Oh well...

There are a number of replies about the red board...I just found a silver one here http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&Item=260186762686&Category=36297&_trksid=p3907.m29 It has the PlainJane Burtonbindings, included...so that is always a plus: but it ends at 13,41 today...
  10. Buyer finally 'undecided...' These boards will go to the next 150... will throw in a Fine vint..kemperAPEX and Burton M1/with rattraps for an additional 100USD the Lot will require pick up in RNO/Intl... Lots of vint. extras, included.
  11. more pics... a bit more than market value I suppose, but worth the extra with no visible rust or wear.. If you know an interested party, you are welcome to send them here.
  12. FS: Oxygen APX. Excellent cond, MINT Microstone Base Finish. Diamond Disc Edge Finish...9,5rad Densolite Core, Sintered Base, Made in AUT. 180 USD (shipping included)! Well, it's not the silver...it's the same red as I'd posted a couple seasons ago and in the same fine condition. I'd used this board one morning, about 8 (mid-winter/groomer) runs here in Mammoth Lakes. The board is VERY responsive, and eight runs were sufficient for my purpose (handling/wax testing). Although the board was ridden on packed powder/machine groomed soft, the board had excellent hold through turns for Alpine/angulated-style turning, and will certainly come into its own in icier terrain/courses. This board will not acommodate a custom titanal plate due to the Atomic/Oxygen BETA geometry, and I am selling as a result. This board easily translates the Alpine style. It also works well with soft. The tail is semi-squared and of course FIS legal. The shape of the tail would compliment the most aggressive SBX ability-level. The board requires a solid interface, such that plate bindings tend to provide, and 3 of the 8 runs were actually with OS1s. I used a Freeride mod, and I'd only recommend a similar, stiffer (Freeride-type) soft binding. The board is much more narrow than a Soft, freestyle/twin-tip board, and a bit wider than most Hardboards. The board is also thicker (at sidewalls) but this may result from the densolite shaped core. Cheaper than the 4WD here...great board, but not for everyone. The board is racing-red and of course, fast and solid...the base is sintered with no other base diecuts, and holds wax very well. There is easily +14mm of camber, and will not acommodate a custom titanal plate... The board is still NOT a closeout: it remains unused, and taking up space. Pick up in Mammoth Lakes avail this week... PayPal preferred, I can forward the PayPal info to prospective buyers, or do cash this week upon pickup. I'd like to sell the board by next week's end.
  13. Apologies...we've been really busy.. I can say with certainty that the K2 was not made with longevity in mind..I can't imagine what the boys were thinking with the foam (preABS) solution to the sidewall..the early attempt at the CAP construction also was horribly lacking. This one is ok for novelty--esp. with the throwback graphic on the new 2006 twintip gyrators--it's just not worth much in the way of impact that would create such litter in the other reply post. The K2 was good for 5hitsnow (it certainly served it's purpose), but the base is not bad at all. The Banana and Kemper were well-maintained despite that I knew jack-all about upkeep then... The Banana is NICE in regional deep and the nose is awesome for that floating-ride feel, but it's pretty good on the groomer as well. The Kemper is just like a 70s buick; it's a tank! ...Yes because that is a bit much for riding anything aside of water and mud with its liberal sidecut. I couldn't tell the radius, but it is a boat..and the pondskim sounds like the perfect environment for this pig. There is a sale pending, so I will update soon. I have a few more sorel-era boards that I'm getting rid of, so ..
  14. Board still avail to Friends in the EU who may be interested in a TOP swallow tail for the deep powder. Contact via PM for detail. My arrival hub is PSA/MXP in Italia...spring trip planned so we can work something out via mail if necessary.
  15. FS: older boards... ...pretty cool for memories, or riding: how nice would it be to smoke a group of upstarts in any Sunday ASA SBX on one of these? I've done just that a couple times, now. Banana (abt. same length/runningedge cm as the Kemper) great base/great clean top!= 75USD including UPS Ground (lower 48) ship...50 Mammoth Lakes p/u Kemper 170 Aggressor Comp (factory inserts); great base and topsheet!= 50USD+25shipping...Mammoth Lakes p/u Will deliver one or both to RNO Int'l Apt for flat rate of 25USD. K2 Gyrator (original teal, white clean 80s-90s base: NOT the new, black 2007 retro graphic)...no gouges in base, small chip in topsheet at the sidewall. 60USD includes shipping. This board was drilled for 5hole bindings. Will sell all 3 together for local Mammoth Lakes/RNO pickup for 125USD.. A shipping charge for all three may not work. Will consider the same offer in case you prepay UPS Ground through your own UPS shipping account. Zip Code is 93546 in Mammoth Lakes. (If you're starting up your own dated collection...this may help. The boards are in great useable shape...especially for the vintageclass Mt Baker Banked Slalom-type events). I've gotten rid of a couple MINT/vintage boards online, but these I'd for training on rare occasion. No gouges, railsliding or any of that nonsense. The bases are in good cond, w/Edges in great shape and inserts intact. I have a box of old bindings as well from the era to work with any of these (rat traps, Burt, plate, Simms heelbacklogo-cover, etc.)...sorry, no pics. But in case you have a UPS account to absorb the cost of boards and bindings together, I'd rather use the bindings for occasional mods rather than an internet sale for "a pair here...or there." PM any interest via BOL...and don't let the vintage fool you; if you trust, these boards can be quite fast in an sx-element if they need be!
  16. one more of the tail..so we can see it's in excellent condition!
  17. belated pics of the 196 for sinecure...I haven't checked the mail yet, but in case sinecure may want a visual..
  18. The pic of the Prior base is accurate. It's been meticulously cared for during it's brief time in the shop. The base has been brushed extensively and has a soapy-type feel without wax. The edges have never been worked. I can hotbox/custom tune for an additional 75USD.
  19. and the Flow bindings...they're brand new, ok? This set up was over 1100+USD. :-(
  20. Yea, that's the model.. thanks!
  21. 350/obo via PM includes free, lower-48 Ground ship from California 93546 Zip.. Board has white base, USED with no gouges...old-style Dewey Weber longboard graphic (black topsheet with stringergraphic lengthwise down the middle)... Great shape...a screamer. Pics to follow, sorry about the delay. No requests for direct photos will be necessary; I'll do what I can in the meantime to update post. PM with contact phone is ok, too.
