What's wrong with setting back both toe and heel blocks a bit more? No I don't have TD2s, so I'm just asking...

Due to a certain incompatibility of my feet with DSM boots selling the pair of Blax Franz 27.5 boots. I just got them from PeterC, but as I’ve told, I have a bad pressure point with both Heads and Blax boots, although since these are used and liner are already packed, they are not as bad. As a bonus my left foot is about .5 larger than my right foot, so 28 Heads were a little too large, 27.5 Heads were perfect, but with a pressure point blocking the blood-flow and left toe feeling a bit too tight... 27.5 Blax are perfect, I’ve managed to buckle them without the pressure point, but the left toe is still tight and hurts after riding... So I switched to Suzukas, which are a bit more friendly lengh-wize... (and feel quite a bit different) Anyways, I’ve used these boots only once since I’ve got them, they are in very good condition, a bit softer than Head Stratos Pros. 100$ US shipped anywhere in North America Feel free to call at 514-572-1490, Alex 1/2 OT: I’m still confused with sizes, I’m 10.5-11 street, 27.5 mondo, 27.5 Heads were the lowest I could get in, Yet I rode once in 26.5 Raichles, which were very tight but still comfy... Finally, got 27 Suzukas... which are about 9 street... The sale rep was like “WTF? I’m 10.5 street and 28.5 mondo!!!”....

Maybe it's just me, but I find Bromont a bit narrow for carving, there are only 2 really carvable trails, I had some awsome time there last year right after it was groomed, but that was it... There are a couple of other good trails, but you have to get trough some rought steeps to acces it...

I've decided to open the season yesterday, and remembering from last year that Avila is good enough to lay out some nice carves I’ve got my stuff ready... Boy it sucked... The grooming was non-existent, beginners trails closed, main trails stuffed with modules and bumps all over… I had to scrape through the whole hill to enjoy at least some flat at the base… Too bad Olympia is still closed at night… Now, good stuff: I liked a lot the fat (21cm waist) O’Sin Sinner 167 I’ve got as a rock-board from ebay. Very nice and turney… Although at the end I had troubles changing an edge and went off-trail hurting my right knee… :-( Guys, how can you ride hardboots all day long? After riding soft setup these hurt like hell after a while… Anyways, although feeling like a beefsteak, I’m happy and set to stick to Olympia till I can master the hard-stuff... They have a very nice, wide trail for this matter….

UPS or Fedex charge an arm a leg for their brockerage, but it takes them 2 days at most to get through... And if the item shipped was declared at 0$, it won't cost a thing... I had a board shipped to me from Chicago I think, in september by USPS airmail, it took 3 days to get in Canada, and 4 weeks to get through customs... I've been asking Peter to provide a traking number since the boots were shipped, and I'm still wating for it...

It is frustrating and since i've desided to part with them I want to keep them new...

I don't want to draw any conclusions so far... Customs were very slow lately, but the fact that it was shipped USPS even though UPS was promised doesn't help does it?

It is Friday late morning and they are still avalible. But i'm masssively pissed off.... we've just got more than one foot of freshy damped on us and i didn't get the 27.5 boots from PeterC yet....

Boots are no longer avalible, I'm a dumb as%, should've thought before that having a pair of brand new boots and the original bill I can still change it at the shop I bought it from... Got 28 exchanged for 27.5 with no questions asked... Tight fit, but they will be perfect after liners getting packed...

Make sure to discuss the shipping with seller before bidding, it looks like he's planning to make more money shipping it than selling it....

Go to any ski-resort web-site, you'll find out that 95% of all snowboard-related pictures are showing a hardbooter unless they were making shots for the snowpark section of the web-site...

BTW, On more than one occasion UPS Ground prouved to be faster than USPS Airmail... For instance in the extream case, from California to Montreal it took 6 weeks by USPS airmail (about 4 weeks at canadian customs), and 1 and a half week by UPS ground... cost is about the same....

USPS Airmail - is fairly safe, but sometimes items might get stuck at the customs for a while... Brockerage is not as bad as UPS or FedEx, but still might get rather heavy... UPS Ground is my prefered for expensive items, no insurance, declared value around 20$... But if the seller was kind enough to insure the item for the full value.. you're f#@#$d.....!!!

You shouls probably get it sooner, because stocks are limited, people love these boards and you'll have hard time finding a used one in good condition, since not many want to part with...

I had 2 extra ones with mines... (4 siffer ones in total) feel free to pass by and get them...

Randy, you've forgot to add "BACK-OFF!!!" punched out on the flat... Your drawing is what i was thinking about, however, it's pushing it. Before making something like this, think how many times you were on somebody's skis without realizing it? Happens everytime when there is a bottle-neck just in front of the lift... Hating when people doing it to you is one thing, taking a deliberate decision to damage somebody else's equipment is a whole different story... Though I'd love to see a lift line where everybody would have these...

Side-note: using WD-40 to clean mechanical parts is a bad idea to begin with. It dries everything to death. It is rather good to dissolve rusty bolts and as a degreaser, but it ends there. There are better lubricant-based penetrating fluids (Randy, don't get any ideas) and, certainly, there are better cleaners out there.

Any silicone-based lubricant will do the job, silicone actually keeps plastics alive...
