  3. So, I have a friend whos dad is a real estate developer or somthing like that in taos so he wqas talking about who they dont like snowboard. I emailed the manager of taos( ex manager of breckenridge) the most accepting place of snowboarding. He was like someday we might let snowboarders in. If you want to see it just let me know.

  13. Mike that is a great quote. when I first tried hardbooting I was all psyced am my skiing brother who hassent snowboarded since we were like 10 yrs old was like he will like it, no wait i think he will hate it. Its just diffrent from soft boots. I am sure most of you will say hard boots are better and more fun( i think they are too) but let them think what they want to and let some of them wait for hours to go off a jump in a park and then hike back up.
  14. its a good thing youre starting her in hard boots now. I started on softies when i was ab out that age. I just got into hardboots. Let her decide what she likes more and let her ride that.
  15. Well, I just got back from Utah. I rode The Canyons resort. I would have gone to Park City of my means of trasportation( dad injured and no car to get there). i would go back to the place. the canyons is HUGE. the one problem is theat there is no real good lift system. in this i mean that you have to zig zag and go on a lot of cat trails to get to other places. I think this isnt the most carve friendly montain in that area. I loved hardboots and now i think i am hooked. If anyone knows any of the other areas( brighton, solitude,PC) I would recomend this area to any carver. If anyone has resort recomendations scince bomber hasnt put a resort review section yet i though i might as well start one.
  16. Norah Jones while crusin, cant get much better
  17. THAtT HAPPEND TO ME ALSO. I carry my tool in my jacket in case antthing goes wrong on the mountain. The denver tsa took it away from me. They also said it can be a weapon. oh yes a little screw driver will kill somone.
  18. Okay so this year i wanted to get a hardboot set-up. My dad is a skiier who knows absolutley nothing. For some reason or another he was so hardpressed on me getting a soft boot set-up so i did and now i am returing it. What should i say to him and why are hard boots betteer. I ran out of everthing i know. scott
  19. yeah they piss me off partly beacuse i live with a skiing family. 2 is crap i have been hit my more skiiers than snowboarders. Kids think skiing is easier so they ski. I am sure we all fell trying to learn. Kids dont like that so they give up. And as for 4 isnt there enough snow for them. if they dont like it why dont they go to deer valley or taos where they can ski by themselvs
  20. i cant go to ses too young and i have school.
  21. 2 things 1- its 50 bucks and i would use it like once or twice 2- there is no other options. so i had to get the stiffest softie set up. I dont know how i will react to a hard boot set up. I may love it and i may hate it.
  22. Well, you do have your point but, i just got a new softie set up so i dont really have a lot to get on another setup(new or used) we there is chaunukka. i found that pj for cheap as hell too for whats its worth.
