having been a skier from the school of pick up the inside ski it drives me nuts watching that clip, don't see small carves, don't see the uphill ski in the air, see the downhill ski losing contact with the snow because the inside (uphill) ski is making to much contact, turns are washed out, skier is out of balance and not really in control I think the skier in jonsen to get on an alpint board hope I opened a whopass can of worms

still got my first board volkl zebra 168 very wide always used plates on it been stone ground so thin it's translucent got a virus black death or two one's got a non wax base and 2 1/2 inches of camber... expect to see it last awhile the other has a ptex base and 2 1/2 inches of camber same got a lot of virsuses don't see any of them not lasting less than 600 days each anyway got a tinkler that would do ok in iraq for 25 years with no wax bombproof got some burners they already lasted 125 days + got a 176 prior pow-stix hope it see's at least 125 days seen three so far had a few boards that didn't last me one run

it's just wax every time you hot wax you add / subtract wax from the base, just put a coat on let it cool scrape it, put a coat on let it cool scrape it, it it was a warm klister, cut it with a cold wax a few times, no time at all it will be absorbed, your base will be proctected and no harm done
